Once again the NHL fails to act.

For some reason these idiots enjoy watching their stars knocked out of the game by illegal and dangerous hits.

Disgusting.

betmann you are a piece of s*** and you prove it every day and in every way.
What are you talking about? What does Betmann have to do with that hit? I don't see much wrong with it. He got 2 for crosschecking and that's all that was deserved. It was a pretty weak little crosscheck at best. It wasn't even square in the back. He hits him at an angle and Kane falls into the boards at an angle as well. You can see Kane's left skate lose it's grip on the ice. This is just something that can unfortunately happen when playing a contact sport on ice with hard boards marking the boundaries of play. I'm all about eliminating head shots and really dangerous hits but if you hate the NHL that much and get outraged over incidents like this maybe you should watch another spot.

Why did he hit him?

He saw his numbers and had no reason to.

He should be HIT every time he's on the ice, it's hockey after all. I'm happy.. cheap shot freaking Hawks. Hope he's out all of the playoffs like they did to Backes.

If it makes you feel any better, Canucks lose to the bottom feeders 6-3 ending their 5 games road trip in an sour note. But I can't be too hard for this bunch of kids that have been working hard with all their current injuries.

We are #1 at something for sure: Most injured team today with 8 regulars out.

But they end up the trip with a 3-2 record, not to shabby for a team banged up, but will it be enough for this tough western conference?

Living in the past and not a good past at that. :P

Hawks had nothing tonight. terrible turnovers. One game on the next night after a game against a contender.

I think they will be just fine. Ofcourse I am ignoring the humiliating defeat to the bruins at home with kane last week.

Seriously.

Hawks take the Blues all day. 8)

Got pretty sloppy for my boys in the beginning and with a heavy physical team like yours, I thought we were going to get run out of the building with all the regulars sidelined due to injuries. But under coach Desjardins, they've been a resilient group all season long and answered back from the physical aspect of the game. They didn't turtle, despite the sucker punch from Reaves on Kassian.

A top team doesn't allow three goals in the last period to tie the game up especially after back to backs and with the current duct tape made defense, that's exactly what happened to VAN.

A couple of side deals, lateral moves in the league today that doesn't really solve our blueline concerns, but with the team in a retool mode, it was clear from GM J. Benning that he was not ready to deal with future picks or prospects.

Sooner or later the extra minutes is going to catch up with the young guys until the current infirmary gets better and should they get to the playoffs I am realistic, I don't think they would past the first round.

I like the new addition for the Blues, Ducks, Caps and Habs in trade deadline.

Rangers will have a good QB in Yandle, CBJ gets a break in dealing away Wisniewski with a 5.5 cap and should have more room with their continuous rebuild.

When you have a dull day in trade deadline, perhaps players' kids can add a spark or two to persuade GM's to make a roster move or two. Cute story.

Toews amazing yet again tonight.

Best player in the NHL.

Disrespected all week by Hawks "fans" here. Stupid people do make me sick.

Moving on to what matters....

Price and my boys with the rough start tonight. Im a bad fan . I have to get up at 5 am so I will leave em soon.

Hey assholes...Being on the left coast doesnt mean going to sleep early.

PLAY EVERY f***in MINUTE LIKE IT MATTERS!

Edit: Glad I went to bed. 8)
