You can make Forza 5 as easy or difficult as you want with visual and driving assists.
Forza 5 is a MAGNIFICENT game. But it's better suited for car and/or racing fanatics. It's a dream title for "car guys" like me, who get their rocks off by racing and taking on Drivatar rivals on real and fantasy courses and collecting a ton of incredible vehicles, both common and rare.
Horizon 2 is a game for everyone, whether they like racing and/or cars or not. It's more of an open world, "sandbox" game while Forza 5 is more of a pure racing title.

Welcome to the New Year! Are you ready to hit the roads of Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One in some new rides? You better be because the G-Shock Car Pack is lighting up the New Year with some amazing rides.
Leading off the pack is a Forza First: the 2015 Nissan IDx NISMO is making its videogame debut in Forza Horizon 2. The IDx prototype harkens back to Nissan’s storied automotive history, with its compact size and aggressive appearance, and looks to the future with innovation and serious under-the-hood performance. Take a spin in this gem, and you will be startled by its performance and charmed by its presence.
The remaining cars of the pack also have “Horizon Festival” written all over them. Take the classic Subaru BRAT or the 1975 Ford Bronco, for example, vehicles that brought a new kind of fun to driving. Need a heavy duty weapon of destruction? The Shelby Raptor is just that. Or, if you are looking to finesse your way to victory, the Ferrari 500 Mondial is just the ticket.
The G-Shock Car Pack for Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One is available today for $5 in the Xbox Live store. Starting today, also available this month for free for all Xbox One players is the 2010 Mazda Mazdaspeed 3.
Not sure why, but I'm pretty excited to drive the BRAT and Bronco. I noticed some of the drivetrain swaps for the BRAT, like a turbo rally engine, can make it a monster.
I might buy this for the BRAT alone. LOVED that car back in the 80s. I saw a Subaru Baja as we drove to Ottawa 10 days ago for a family holiday, and I told my kids about the glory of the BRAT.

That's the great thing about this game. it has cars that you owned. I had a BMW back in the early 90s that is in this game, same color, same make , same everything. When I first saw it in the game, I was going nuts determined to buy it once I had enough CR to buy it. Once I did, it's all I drive now in free roam.
Unfortunately, I just saw this posted in the Turn 10 forums, so it may be over in a few hours. However, I know we have some talent here in the DSP Club. Last time I checked, my time was at 270 on the leaderboard, so I know there are people here who can make the Top 200 and represent...
PS - We've got to get a Poker Night going on this game.
Clubbed Up 2:
If you are in a Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One club, then you still have time to get busy and represent. Clubbed Up 2 is a special rivals event that has been running since Monday and will end this coming Monday. The point? Get as many of your club members into the top 200 of the Clubbed Up 2 leaderboard. Currently that means achieving a time better than 2:09.363. Right now, I am sitting at #27 with a 1:57.53. Come and catch me if you can!
Right now Club More Oven, is dominating with 24 members, heh-heh I said “members,” in the top 200. Club PWNed is sitting in second with 13, and there is a tight race for third with Forza Racing Network, Apex Racing and Hard Luck Racing all tied for third with nine members each.
You have until Monday to put some stink on a lap in Clubbed Up 2. It’s a fun, fast route. If you have a smaller club with less than 200 members you can compete for a separate club credit prize. There is a tough battle going on between smaller clubs Hard Luck and Elite Racing.
There’s nothing like a sweet pack of cars approved by the folks at Top Gear to brighten up a dreary winter day. The Top Gear Car Pack for Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One is available now, and it’s got something for practically every kind of car fan.
We kick things off with the latest Lexus sport coupe, the 2015 RC F, which is one-part luxury, one-part pavement shredder. Next, the BMW M235i brings lithe form and its own impressive rear wheel drive to bear. If you’re in search of a land speed record while driving in exotic style, the Jaguar XJ220 awaits. Extreme Cross Country events will never be the same with the presence of the “Rambo Lambo,” and the heraldic trumpeting of the Ferrari 458 Speciale will bring glory to practically any setting.
This month’s free car, the Ford Lotus Cortina, is also waiting to be tossed around Storm Island or model for you Forzatographers...
What follows is the full rundown of each the cars in Top Gear Car Pack. Is it the best Forza Horizon 2 DLC pack… IN THE WORLD (as Top Gear’s own Jezza might say)? That’s up for you to decide.
The Top Gear car pack for Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One is now available for $5 U.S. on the Xbox Marketplace or through the Forza Hub app for Xbox One. The Top Gear Car Pack is included free for Forza Horizon 2 Car Pass owners.
Don’t miss the new season of Top Gear U.K. airing now on Xbox Video and television. Check your local listings for the next episode.
Well, it was very short lived, and it is only a monthly rivals challenge event that was less than a day old, but for a moment I actually had a Top 20 posting on a Rivals board (highest ever across all Forza games since original Xbox). Normally not my style to brag much, so go humble me by beating my Mini Cooper ghost. I find this particular Rivals event a perfect "just one more try" event, as it is short and moderately challenging without being too frustrating. Check it out:
Citadel of Speed Monthly Rivals Challenge (Class C) on the Citadel Circuit:
Don, that's a very tidy lap you've put down. (Unless we're both dog slow. I mean, I suppose it could be that.) We were 33rd and 41st when I ran my laps on Tuesday night so if they've got any kind of club ranking on the go, DSP must be doing alright.
I keep finding myself driving along some or other mountain road in a Sierra RS Cosworth, car all painted up to look like Tim Harvey's old Group A BTCC car, in convoy with my mates, thinking that Playground Games had a picture of me on the office wall captioned, "Can we make a game that looks like this bloke's dreams?"
The Mazda MX-5 Car Pack features four amazing examples of the MX-5’s legacy of sporty style and thrilling driving. Starting with the car that reignited the world’s love of sports cars in the late 1980s – the 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata – and featuring three other models, including the 2005 Mazda Mazdaspeed MX-5, the 2010 Mazda MX-5 Super20 concept car, and the upcoming 2016 Mazda MX-5, this pack covers more than 20 years of the MX-5’s legendary contributions to sports car history.
In addition to the launch of the free Mazda MX-5 Car Pack, we’ll be kicking off an exciting Rivals contest for Forza Horizon 2 players on Xbox One. The Rivals contest, which begins on Tuesday, March 17 and ends on Thursday, April 30, will give Forza Horizon 2 players the opportunity to win a real-life 2016 Mazda MX-5.
