Well, that's a lot of new stuff. Hope they remember to work on the gameplay a little with all of those additions. It got boring pretty quickly.

From what I have seen, I hope they copy the s*** out of Super Mega Baseball, in terms of gameplay. I found the first game to be pretty boring. But SMB looks like they found the proper balance for this gen.

There is just no way it's going be anywhere near as good as Super Mega baseball.

Anyone have this game? I was part of a twitch session and it looks damn fun. I like the pace of the game, 15 min to get thru the game, no frills no hassle. Also I guess they added real stadiums this year so that really looks good. I always wanted a baseball game to play as fast HH did and this looks like it's close. Not sure of the AI, but the guy on twitch said his games have been pretty varied and he's only had the game for a week and is like 40 games into the season already. I know the show is the premiere baseball game, but I don't have time to sit thru 1 hour sessions playing videogame baseball and the modes are stale now since i've played them for the last few years.

$20 isn't that bad of a price tag either for RBI.

Bump. Did anyone try this game?

I'm considering picking it up on Steam sale right now. Most comments online are fairly useless because they try to compare it to The Show, which is apples to oranges.

It's got real players and stadiums which is essential for me, but I wouldn't mind a simplified speedy game of ball.

Have it in xbo. Liked it but it gets a bit repetitive. There is no way to sim games so that's one drawback. But overall it's arcade style old school baseball. Good game to get for kids too.

I bought it for $10 before I saw these messages.

Played one game, lost 3-1. Plays about how I expected, no more, no less. Fielding controls are a little stiff, batter/pitcher obviously very simplified, but it's not bad to play some quick old school baseball.

Ya the game is fun if you need to play a game or two in a sitting to fill your baseball needs.
