Why poetic? Wtf are you talking about. A grotesque mistake by the coach, hope Pete takes it like a man and run like a mouse. You don't hand gift a SB to no one, let alone the Pats.
Well it was sort of what you said. They were so arrogant to call a play like that when you got the best guy in the NFL to get you one yard. It was just inexcusable.

Dude that wasn't arrogant. The was idiotic, stupid, dumb, speechless stuff. Inexplicable Pete, go hide somewhere.
Horrible coaching on both sides in the last minute. Bellicheck not calling a timeout when the ball was on the 1 was stupid. Carrol not giving the ball to the best running back in the league was even more stupid.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.

I know your team lost and you're a bit emotional, but the Hawks the last 2-3 years have been the most arrogant aholes in the leauge. I mean they backed it up, but the way they lose it tonight was just poetic justice.
Come on now, Russell Wilson talking about how he wants to win 6 SB's isn't arrogant enough for you? How about trying to win #2 first by running the best short yard RB from a yard out first. And if you're coach called that play audilble out and use some common sense.
I'm surprised that last play didn't happen to Romo already.
Hard to believe it's been 10 years between Pat Superbowls. Who would have thunk since 1985 that the Pats would have more SB's now than the Bears would have had SB apperances. Thank you McCaskeys.
added - this may be the first SB where the losing coach will get more questions than the winning coach.
We have to seriously consider Tom Brady the best ever now. He's won it now with so many different players. Brady may be around for another one before he hangs it up.
Got to hand it to Carroll. He's answering every question everyone's asking him. Not sure if it makes sense, but you can see he's clearly shell shocked. I remember that SB where Mike Martz's Rams lost to the Pats, Martz's was such an arrogant jerk in the post game. Got to hand it to Pete to face the music.me.
added - showing Sherman in post game conf. He's answering every question too. He's clearly in shell shock as well. Good too see the Hawks facing the music. Not sure what that whole brawl was at the end of the game. Guys probably just pissed off the way they lost. Hawks players/coachs some redeeming values.
Probably the first and last time I cheer for the Pats. I really didn't care until Seattle went up 24 and Sherman was talking to the camera. It's so easy to talk big and act big when you're winning. Losing with class is a lot tougher and Seattle certainly wasn't up to the task.
Was the call to pass a bad decision, sure was but the play by the DB whose name I don't even know was a 1 in 50, maybe more shot. He gambled and made the perfect play. A second early its PI, a second late a TD. Sure it was a bad call but it was an amazing play.

I have gotten texts from my brother, sister and ALL my friends screaming about that play call.
It will go down as the worst play call ever.
BUT
I would be remiss if I didnt say to a genuinely good guy...thats you Rally...Gratz.
Enjoy.
Yeah, Congratz Rally. Brady was amazing and I would have preferred him to earn it the hard way instead of that sickening call. Sure, Pete is being brave in front of the cameras and the loss in on him but how about Wilson? He's the man, deflating any blame on the coach and putting it all on his shoulders for the pick. But who are we kidding here really?
Again, before the miraculous catch by Hearse, what the Pats had done in the last quarter alone was superb. But I can't help feeling that they silver plated the win away with one yard to go and all the time in the world to do so. But kudos to the rookie for that great steal.
Thanks XXXIV for the encouragement...but yeah this one hurts as much as the WC last year.
