Well to finally play some EA games last night on Access. I noticed the servers are down half the time I try to access he games so I guess it's not a priority with EA.

1.NBA LIVE 15 - game is pretty terrible. I want to like it but just can't bec the servers have been down since I dl'd the game a few days ago. So no ultimate team and all the other modes. Does EA even know their servers are down? It's like they mailed it in with this one and don't care. What a shame, because I really want to access those new features.

2.Madden 15 - Pretty much same game as PS4. PS4 plays a little smoother and the graphcis are slightly more detailed, but basically same game. I liked the XBO controller over the DS4.

3.NHL 15 - On XBO the game looks 10x better than PS4, looks alive. It's more clearer and brighter on XBO, while it is dull looking on PS4. The only thing I don't like is the XBO controller for this game. I use poke check a lot and the RB/LB bumpers are a bit too stiff. Maybe it's just something to get use to.

4.FIFA 15 - this game is terrific on XBO. The graphics on PS4 are a bit more detailed but I liked how clear things look on XBO. The night game lighting on PS4 is better and they also have that fog weather affect that i haven't seen on xbo night games yet. But day games are nice and clearer on XBO and the weather is a bit better on XBO. The XBO controller is perfect for this game. I like the hard feeling buttons more for soccer and the controller fits like a glove for this game.

EA Access - pretty much a bust. The free games I have no interest in and there are too few. The trials are a great idea, but worthless when online does not even work and you can't access features.

Just like on Thanksgiving, Jackbox TV was one of the highlights of the evening last night that included 7 couples and several kids. Fibbage and Drawful are just outstanding games and provides hilarious moments. Can't say enough good things about this game!

I hate that staged crap. First it was the 'dad destroying the games with the lawnmower' schtick. Now Francis' second cousin tries to convince someone that this actually happened spontaneously. Stupid.

Yeah, yeah, yeah last to the party but damn what a tremendous, beautiful game. The story telling is so well done also. Hope to finish the game over this holiday break. That is saying something because I rarely finish sp games.
Glad you are enjoying it. I have never had a game stick with me the way The Last of Us has.

I see NHL 15 on XBL Store for $38.99. Is it on sale or something or did it go down retail? I'm tempted to get it, even though I don't like digital since I can never sell it. But for that price, it may be a good deal.

Been that way for at least a week because that's what I paid for Fifa on the XB1 and it was an EA Sports sale.

I was at walmart and saw fifa xb1 for 39 too. But nhl was still 59

So u have fifa now for both xb1 and ps4? I got like 150k fut ps4 or I'd probably get the xb1 version.

I really wish the XBO had the power down options available when you were powering down, the way the PS4 does. The instant-on option doesn't make as much sense when you don't have a Kinect, but I like to use instant on during the day on the weekends when I play more and then shut it down to save energy at the end of the night. Having to toggle instant on/energy saving in settings is pretty lame. In fact, the PS4 UI is generally much better. I like the functionality the XBO has, but the layout is much less logical than the PS4's two-level menu system.

I do love the friend feed on XBL, though. It was awesome watching a clip of PK sinking a chip shot in The Golf Club.

Save that clip forever. A rarity along the lines of Halley's Comet. :)

Playstation Now will cost $20 per month or $45 per qtr and will give full access to the PS3 library. This could be why Sony turned down EA Access as they are similar, offering the publishers library. I still think EA's offering gives the best value at $30 yr.

Still seems pretty steep price considering I still have a PS3 and all my old games.

I don't get the appeal of playing last-gen games on a current-gen system through an on-demand service. If I wanted to play PS3 or XB360 games, I would have kept those systems and titles.

Most current blockbuster titles are sequels in franchises or annual sports games. In other words, the newest flavor of games we've already played. Why would I want to pay that much to play a recent game with lesser graphics that I probably already played?

I understand the nostalgia about playing Atari 2600 or NES games on an emulator. That revives fond memories of childhood and teen-hood for many of us. But I'm sorry, playing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell or F1 2011 isn't going to give me a case of the warm fuzzies.

Pretty much the same conclusion I came to. Also the reason I never gave a sh*t about backwards compatibility. I don't want to play last gen...when I get current gen.
