Sorry, Paul--had a Madden league game last night that I was waiting on. Could play TF or anything else until I finished that, and by the time I did, you guys looked like it was pretty much over.

No worries. I had all sorts of connectivity problems last night, both with XBL and my home network. So my gaming night washed out quickly.

Ok so I apparently don't understand the XB1 enough to notice Party invites. I turned it on last night and found several old TF party invites. Do these not appear in your face anymore? Am I missing something?

I typically don't snap anything to the screen because it bugs the crap out of me and sheepishly I don't know how to remove it.

Anyway anyone want to play FH2 tonight?

I don't know the XB1 interface very well either when it comes to joining parties. I did want to mention that my XB1 is usually on so if you send me a party invite and I don't join there's a very good chance that I'm not actually there. I think Terry sent me something the other night by accident but I never saw it.

They just show up in the little global icon up at the top corner if you don't join it immediately. And if you have a bunch of achievement announcements, it's not like you'd see the notification count go from 21 to 22 and pay any attention, really.

I accidentally sent you a Madden invite when I meant to click on the next name down, Scoop. I was laughing thinking "that's gotta seem random!".

Well that is good to know. Is there a way to see if friends are in a party and join it? For that matter can you still join a friends game / party?

Yeah go to the friends tab at the top, you can see what they're up to. For example, yesterday my Home screen showed me 1 person was broadcasting. I jumped to friends and saw it was you playing AC Unity, but the broadcast had a huge hitch every 5 seconds or so, so I only watched for a minute.

You can tell what friends are up to there, and hitting A on their name lets you send messages or join if available.

I was wondering who was watching me. Thanks for the info, I see myself using my XB1 more now that I have two of them. My daughters are more comfortable with the XB1 for some reason.

Not surprising the broadcast had a hitch, Uverse has been throttling my bandwidth i think. Downloads lately have been ungodly slow. I want to pull the trigger and switch to Infinity but I'm worried it will suck and also I still have my uverse email on accounts I'm likely not aware of.
