Shocking to think that on a sports forum a lot of us like to watch sports and then talk about it.

Glad the Rams won and the whiner lost. Hate that team from top to bottom.

I guess its 'against the rules' to talk about that current state of football even if it questions the overexposure?!?! Well EXCUUUUUSEEEE MEEEE!

Not against the rules, just not sure what your point was. You posted in here multiple times about Jay Cutler and how bad a QB he is, I assume you're a bears fan then a week ago said it was the first bears game you watched in ages (or something to that effect).

You're free to talk about whatever you would like, just not sure why you would continue to post in the NFL thread when by your own admission you don't watch a lot of football for and a minute of one of the best games of the week is enough for you.

I'm not sure how you measure over exposure, if it's by ratings and revenue then No, the NFL is not over exposed. If you throw in fantasy football then ir won't be anytime soon. Do I think the NFL's arrogance is going to take them down in the future? absolutely. Asking headline musicals acts to pay for the privilege of playing half-time at the Superbowl, telling players what headphones they can and can't wear because of licensing deals, off the field issues. You name it the NFL administration is in for a rude awakening one day but I still love the game.

No one is going to stop ARI in the NFC West. Seahawks struggled to beat the worst team in the league as it came to an onside kick and even then, it came to a sloppy recovery. Here's the thing. The team has been struggling for while despite the last couple of W's and R. Wilson simply can't do it all. The receiving core is getting thinner due to injuries and with Harvin gone, D. Baldwin who in most teams would be a #3 receiver in the depth chart is now the main target. The beast is not running the ball as much as he'd like to as he's being used as another receiver in their passing game, the pass rush is still weak and even though they are just behind the Cards by a couple of points, they won't be able to match them up, not even SFO I am afraid, unless the wounded get healed.

Cowboys are another team without Romo, and damn that was an impressive win for NE.

Right now, they are far from perfect, but KC has a chance to be really, really good. They tanked in week one, losing their best defensive player for the season in Derek Johnson in the process, and looked like the team was going to be rebuilding soon instead of trying to make the playoffs. But they, after losing a tight game in Denver, one in which they had the ball 4th and goal from the 2 with under a minute left and a chance to tie, have won 5 of their last 6. They also lead the NFL in sacks, have yet to allow a rushing TD, and have allowed the fewest yards passing per game than anyone in the NFL, and have one of the best RB's in football (and an a fantastic back-up in Kniles Davis), and a QB that doesn't turn the ball over. With Denver's loss in NE, KC has a shot at taking the West when Denver comes to play in Arrowhead. Who would have thought that?

I think they still lack some important pieces, like a WR that can stretch the field, but the team can score points, and it will play a damn fine game of keep away as they burn that clock. No one will be penciling them in as the top seed in the AFC yet, but no one is going to want to play them, either. Their win over the Jets was uninspired, but I think they had it so well in hand that Andy Reid just went full on vanilla on offense and let the defense seal the win.

We'll see how they look at Buffalo next week, and then Seattle at home the following week. If they want to win the West, those are must win games. They can't lose conference games and they can't lose anymore at home if they want a good record. Then they have Oakland as a tune-up before Denver comes to town. Of course, they have road games in Arizona and Pittsburgh among their final four, so it will get tougher. If they make it, they will have earned it.

That one hurt. Through three quarters it felt like Miami was down by 14 yet it was only four points. Failure to score the TD inside the five was brutal and sealed the fate. Just knew the D wasn't going to be able to hold up after being on the field that much all game. And true enough Detroit marched right down the field for the win. Pretty impressive D they've got up there.

Game over Rams.. ugh.. that stupid penalty on that catch and run by Jared Cook totally changed this game. Now, two INT's don't help things much either!

I thought Eli Manning played a very efficient first half including challenging R. Sherman a couple of times with Beckham Jr. It was close until the beast busted open the game with his patented runs along Wilson with the read option in the third quarter. How's a total of 350 rushing yards for you.

Still, with the thin receiving core Wilson struggled to find an open man and had two INT. With KAN, ARI & SFO coming up we'll see where they really stand as they are down to one TE .

Looks like Carson Palmer is gone for the year so we'll see how the Cards react to that.

Bears on national tv again. So far really bad. 21-0. This Trestman guy seems like he's lost control of the team.

42-0 at half. Only thing left to watch in this game is which bears players ends up hurting himself celebrating some play down 42.

While it would never happen, I would love for every Bears fan to not show up next week. A fan base who doesn't care sends a stronger message than one who shows up and boo's

I'm pulling for them to not win another game.

If Mel Tucker is still employed at 12PM, this really is still the old, broken Bears trying to play 21st c. football with a family of McCaskeys tied around its neck.

You know it's bad when you find yourself wondering what the salary cap implications are for cutting a QB in the first year of a 7-year, $125 million contract.

I agree that I don't know how Mel Tucker keeps his job today. If that doesn't get a defensive coordinator fired, what does? Trestman will be gone, too, but I doubt the Bears will fire him before the end of the season.
