Was kind of falling asleep last night when I joined in but was fun to hang for a few races.
Question - how to you increase a particular vehicles rating #? I still am just scratching the surface of the game but i didn't realize you had to go in and tune cars to get their rating better. Is there an option for the game to automatically make updates so I don't have to spend the time and effort tweaking each car?

Go to the Horizon Festival Hub, enter your garage, then there is the option for custom upgrade and auto upgrade, click auto upgrade and then you can do a quick upgrade to whichever class that car has available and that will max out the rating.
I got in for the last race and think edge 34 out to not come in last. Needless to say I suck and keeping the car under control through corn fields is umm really hard

By the way, it appears there is a 500mb patch for Horizon 2 being released now. No specifics yet from Turn 10, but I assume that Brian Ekberg's Week in Review today wll tell us more. Speaking of Brian, there is a cool challenge happening at 3:00pm Pacific today. UNfortunately, I will not be able to make it, but this is a neat idea. So if you want to take on our Forza 5 Mechberg Rank Challenge guy live and in-person, check out this event today.
The Gauntlet Details
Last week in the Week in Review, we teased something we’re calling “The Gauntlet.” Today, I’ve got a few more details about this upcoming live event, which will take place on Friday, Oct. 24 beginning at 3 p.m., our regular weekly #ForzaFriday livestream slot.
In a way, The Gauntlet is a lot like our Community Bounty challenges that we run from time to time. Only this time, we’ll be doing it live and the Forza Community will have a very limited amount of time to catch their target. Here’s how it will work:
I’ll kick off the show on October 24, and we will have three closed Rivals events in Forza Horizon 2. The first event will open up and I will have approximately 15 minutes to set my time in this Rivals event live, while viewers can cheer me on (or not). After that first 15 minutes, that first event will open up to the world, and everyone will have just 15 minutes to beat my originally set time. Meanwhile, I’ll have moved on to the next Rivals event in the line, which will remain closed for 15 minutes while I set the team time beat. Every 15 minutes we’ll open up a new event so that viewers can set a time. At the end of the show, all three Rivals events will close up for good and that will be that. We’ll award credits to those players who have beaten my times across all three events.
Keep in mind, these Rivals events will ONLY be open during the live broadcast and will be taken down completely after the show is over. So, if you want a chance to participate (and a chance to win some in-game credits) you need to tune in to the live show beginning at 3 p.m. on October 24 on our official Twitch channel. Be there or miss out!
And don’t forget to tune in to today’s #ForzaFriday livestream where we’ll be playing Forza Horizon 2 with you guys. The fun starts at 3 p.m. Pacific!
Yeah, last night was ridiculous fun. I cannot believe how much Playground Games absolutely aced this game. Every time I sit down to play I am having a blast doing something. And last night was just another example. There is a little bit of a learning curve with the mode, but once iyou figure it out, the game doesn't get in the way of the fun.
I wish I recorded more clips. Just looking at the few you guys posted on the activity feed was pretty cool though. I feel like I should have the Game DVR ready to be snapped to record the last 3-5 minutes. Although, the DVR feeds do lack the voice chat, which is part of the fun.
One thing I would recommend is that everyone max out a car in each class, and maybe paint it up. It's usually best to grab the best car from whatever class you are racing in, so having the one you want to roll with is helpful. I know I plan on getting some cars ready for the next party.
