Hood Cam.

Only got a little time in with the game last night - was having too much fun watching the Royals game. Hoping the Pirates game tonight is a quick one so I can get back to Horizon!

Which cam depends on the car for me. Open wheel I go cockpit but after that depends on vision and which way I can handle the car better.

This game I will be behind the car most of the time. I think. Maybe.

I've been doing mostly behind the car cam. I like the cockpit in terms of driving, but there getting a bigger view rely helps. When you need to get yourself lined up to hit the checkpoints, it really helps.

I half extract to go back to cockpit view after I grind out enough stuff thatI want to do. I did just complete Sisteron, which means I got my green wristband and can join a club. Right now I'm in the GWJ club, but it is just two of us. If we can get a good size one here, I will switch.

I just went through and made sure I had all the Horizon players on my friends list and was missing Rockjaw McGraw, Diablo25 and JayhawkerStl. Friend invites sent. (XBL: Leadfoot5)

Aristo, looks like you accepted already, thanks!

I unlocked the ability to join clubs last night. Someone needs to get the DSP club up and going! There are still server issues though and I couldn't get into the online paint shop at all yesterday afternoon or evening.

My impressions are pretty good though! Lots to do, and racing a pack of 12 drivatars makes for quite interesting action.

Was going to create one last night if no one had done so yet but the servers greyed out the club option but I just logged on now and was able to create one. Club name is DSP Racing Club, Club Tag is DSPR as it said that just DSP was already taken.

No, there is no DSP club. If someone creates it, I would suggest either a password or approval process GWJ club I'm in ballooned to 50+ randoms overnight. This wouldn't be a big deal, but your car club members populate your leaderbosrds.

Did a search on the DSP tag and it shows up as Darkside Paladinz with 3 members, didn't see the old club carried over.

I set the DSP club to friends only so no randoms can join.

Had a couple of Infected races last night, still a lot of fun there, too bad for the inconsistent server issues though.

Server performance last night was definitely better. My VIP rewards were working, and I was able to get all my "free" cars. The time I spent racing on-line was fun, looking forward to some DSP infected games....

Hopefully, I will get to play some tonight. Boy, my thoughts of playing this Monday night at midnight sure blew up in my face. :)

[UPDATE: 10/2/14 1:30 p.m.]

A quick update from me today. We continue to monitor our server issues, working towards stabilization for all players. The team here at Turn 10 is working hard to get things running in a satisfactory way. This continues to be a top priority for us until these issues are resolved.

Also, lots of people are asking about not receiving your various rewards yet. This includes loyalty cars, Forza Rewards credits, etc. I want to reiterate: We are definitely aware of these issues and these rewards are being sent out. In fact, many Forza Horizon 2 players have already received their rewards. With regard to Forza Rewards in particular, if you have redeemed your Rewards here on the Forza Web site or via Forza Hub you will be receiving your rewards. The server issues we are experiencing means they are going out more slowly than we'd like but they are going out.

As always, thanks for your patience.

[UPDATE: 10/1 12:05 p.m.]

Hi All,

A few more updates for you:

•Rewards payouts are starting to go out, including Forza Rewards, loyalty cars, etc. You can redeem your Forza Rewards today (and each month) over at the Rewards site, or by downloading the brand new Forza Hub app for Xbox One.

•We are aware of the issue with people being unable to join Car Clubs in Forza Horizon 2 and are working on a solution.

•Server stability should be much better than it was yesterday but we are keeping a close eye on performance today.

I've seen lots of people asking on various threads about "2x reward acceleration" for Forza Horizon 2 VIPs. To clarify: 2x reward acceleration refers to the doubling of gift value when using the wheelspin feature after leveling up. As a Forza Horizon 2 VIP, you receive double the value of the gifts that a non-VIP player receives. For example, where a non-VIP would win 20,000 credits after a wheelspin, a VIP would win 40,000. For car prizes, VIP members receive both the car AND the credit value for that car.

Anybody run across one of the "Pro Drivatars" yet? I saw a target on my minimap tonight and went and beat it, and got over 50,000 credits for one short head to head race 8O

Now Anna is sending me updates anytime one of those "bounty" drivatars are in the area haha

Do I need an invite for the DSPR club? All the tabs seem to be working except the 'Clubs' one which is greyed out for me.

Have you completed Sisteron? Clubs are disabled until you complete those four races, and you beat the train.

Still havent gotten the rewards credits or the Tier 5 cars.

I read that they are starting to pass em out. Anyone here get em yet?

Love the actual game...Only complaint so far is that when I race with manual transmission it harder to hear than it is in F5.

If you go into audio settings, they have an option to emphasize the car sound over the music. In addition, they have sliders to further increase or decrease different elements that might help you hear the engine better.

Yeah I got a million credits last night and 5 or 6 gift cars. Not sure which ones were T5 cars, I had a WRX STi, some Rally Fighter monster truck looking thing, a Viper, the Huracan, etc. And yep, what Aristo said. First thing I did was turn up car engine sounds, turn down radio.
