Anyone use the NFL app on the XB1? It just got updated and I really like it. It tracks your fantasy football squads but there is a problem (I think). I have an NFL.com league and a CBS league. They are both supported by the app BUT when I sign into my CBS league I can't access my NFL League...when the app is snapped...which is what it will be when I'm watching games. Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you all for the kind wishes. What a great community we have here.....just wish I had more time to devote to it and gaming. My newfound love for IRL Golf has had a dramatic impact on my video gaming time. Thank you again fellas.

Again, my apologies for the threadjack. In the future, I'll create a new OT thread for something like this.

When it comes to cancer, it's worth the threadjack. I learned that lesson pretty heavily this year. Don't apologize for that, Divot--that's pretty much what we're all here for. Support in one form or another--whether it's making sure we're not the only insane middle-aged people on the planet who still play games, or dealing with real-world problems, really.

Very well said TCrouch!

I roll my eyes when people say "it's just the internet, not real life". Well, there are real life people participating on the internet with real life issues and struggles.

Tim, I've known you on the internet for over 10 years now and I will be praying every morning for your recovery from your health issues until your receive your complete healing and wholeness. :!:

pk500 wrote:If I take the One plunge, I will get the Madden 15 bundle for $399, plus one free game with the MS offer next week.

My immediate instinct was to get Forza 5 as the freebie. But Forza Horizon 2 is released at the end of this month, and that would be a MUST-buy for me. And I really don't want two of the games in my limited library to be Forza titles.

I have zero interest in getting the current version of an EA or 2K Sports non-football title since FIFA, NHL and NBA all will see new flavors swirling on gamers' tastebuds within a month or two.

I'm leaning toward a shooter. What's the most enjoyable shooter on the One? Is BF4 really that much better on the One other than the 64-player online sessions? Is it just an evolutionary step from the 360 version, which I love?

What shooter shows off the technical and gameplay abilities of the One the best?

Thanks.
Titanfall.

Titanfall looks and plays great, is easy get into and is fun online even with randoms. You can play a match or two in a 10 minutes. Since you don't have much game time Titanfall may be better than Destiny where a big part of the game is leveling up, finding stuff and digging through menus to equip your character.

If you want BF4, you might consider EA Access for $30. That'll get you BF4 for a year plus any other game in the "EA vault," presently FIFA 14, Need for Speed Rivals, Peggle2 and Madden 25. 4 decent games, (not counting Madden since you'll have 15) with more being added over time.

I may do the XBO deal this week where you get the free game with the bundle. I don't need one but I wouldn't mind having both systems like most of you. I like the idea of EA Access so that is another selling point for me. I just don't know which system to get EA Sports games for now. PS4 has been fine, but I miss the robustness of XBL if it's similar to what 360 had.

EA Access is a HUGE tipping point for me. Thanks for the suggestion.

It's looking more and more like I may take the current-gen plunge this week. I've progressed from contemplating to teetering in the last 48 hours. :)

I think you will enjoy it PK....I enjoyed the One when I had it, but the wife did not care for the Kinect/TV interface. I will likely get a One some day and hope we can hook up and play a game sometime. Really enjoying my PS4 now with the Golf Club, but I have to admit I miss all my friends on XBox Live where I have been since the original XBox. Hope to hear more details of your "plunge" soon.....come on in, the water's nice!......

I'm going Kinectless if I make the leap. No interest in any of the Kinect features, and I like saving $100.

Penny wise and pound foolish. Not a wise plan. Kinnect is more integral than it can be realized without living with the machine. Check a few pages back in the thread for confirmation of my opinion.

I was going to go with the Kinectless bundle also but since having bought the Forza Kinect bundle and messing with it for a little over a week now I love it, have it set up to turn on/off the tv and audio system and it works great with both tv and gaming and I am glad I decided to get it instead of waiting until later to pick it up as an accessory.

Spend the money on the Kinect. Zappo is right. As much as I don't like the one...it's utilized and good to have. Especially going forward...you never know what basic functionality will use it. Just cover yourself.
