NHL 15

There's a thread over on the OS Forums asking that if there is no EASHL in the Xbox One or PS4 versions of NHL 15 would you still be purchasing the game (http://www.operationsports.com/news/756 ... ashl-poll/). As of today, the overwhelming majority said that they don't even play online so they have said it does not affect their buying decision.

I would like to know what the Ice Dragon members will be doing if EASHL is not included in the Xbox One or PS4 versions of NHL 15? Will you just decide to continue playing NHL 14 EASHL on Xbox 360, purchase the Xbox 360 version of NHL 15 for EASHL, or just buy the Xbox One (or PS4) version of NHL 15?

The problem with EASHL for me is that I have zero interest in playing it with randoms. But gaming time really doesn't fall in in line with a lot of other gamers, so finding a group to play with is kind of rough. Basically, it's a mode I think would be awesome, but I just never have time to invest in.

I wonder how many gamers will double dip, playing NHL 15 on the PS4 or XB!, but playing their EASHL on last gen. Will EA keep the NHL 14 servers open for it, or will they migrate players to the new game? Sadly, I would probably just double dip. Hell, I could see some sticking with NHL 15 for the 360, and then getting the next gen version on the PS4.

EA may have this exactly in mind. They'll be making more $$ with NHL 15 than if the included EASHL in Xbox One & PS4.

I doubt ill be buying 15 at all if clubs is not in. All my gaming will be with the Fifa club.

Same here. I'll also be playing tons of FIFA UT as well, my favorite sports game mode. NHL UT has never grabbed me, so without Clubs or at least some form of OTP, NHL doesn't have much to offer me.

At this point, I think I'd be inclined to try to stick it out with NHL 14(360), if OTP is not in next-gen, at least until a price drop.

I don't see the point in upgrading to 15 on the 360 as I think it likely that minimal investment's gone into the last gen version, and when you're playing online, we're not playing with the real clubs anyway.

I don't care about club or hut in any of the sports games. I play primarily against CPU in season mode or head to head with my sons or brother in law. I'll pick up NHL15 for PS4 on release day but I'm looking much more forward to FIFA 15....I cannot wait for that game.

Not really sure what I'd do...yet. I still keep waiting for the EA announcement saying, "EASHL...sure it's in next gen...whoever said it wasn't?" The thing with staying with NHL14 (360) is will all the 360 owners migrate to the new 360 version and leave NHL 14 a barren wasteland? I know I'll be getting some new version. I just hope it's a full featured next gen NHL15.

Im guessing they are frantically trying to get it in the game but arnt sure they can by the deadline hence the no announcement.

It's exactly what makes the Ice Dragons so special. We have a social bunch of guys that are committed every weekend for over a year to play EASHL. But since I just traded NHL 14, I may have to double dip if there's enough interest to continue OTP with 15 as I do want to play the next version too.

Youtube video with all NHL 15 achievements. NO EASHL ACHIEVEMENTS WHATSOEVER. Really pissed. It's starting to settle in now. An entire year more of waiting for next gen EASHL. What a friggin' joke.

New modeling system for players and equipment allows for dynamic cloth technology in the next generation, with the players’ clothes moving and affecting physics.

EA is re-creating all 30 NHL arenas in extensive detail, making each arena unique and enabling larger crowds at NHL games.

Group celebration returns to the NHL series for the first time since NHL 11, allowing goalscorers to celebrate with teammates in the next generation versions.

New individual player celebrations have also been added.

All the things I was dreaming of and hoping for!

Is it crazy of me to think this...let's say EA comes out and says, yes, no EASHL in the next gen versions...for now. We will be adding it as DLC when that mode is ready....like around the time the NHL season begins. Possible???

How about all those people who bought next gen consoles just for this mode. EA just f'd them. I now wonder what will be missing in FIFA 15. I hope we can at least have tourney mode this year.
