EA do treat D men like red headed step children.

I understand that chicks dig the long ball and that bullshit for the tards and the kiddies but the one thing I ask/ beg is that they not be invisible. When a pass goes through me...well...Thats just insulting.

Seems like people are doubting EASHL in this year's NHL 15. It hasn't been confirmed yet... I would seriously doubt that mode wouldn't be in this year, but I am beginning to wonder.

EASHL and HUT are probably their two most played modes and money makers for them so having two years to work on it for next gen they are probably going to be there, just haven't announced any game modes yet, perhaps tomorrow when EA has their press conference at Gamescon there will be some info then.

Yeah, I can't see how they'd abandon the modes for year one, what with microtransactions and all. Still, would have serious reservations about picking up the next-gen version without OTP/EASHL.

There is NO WAY EASHL isn't in NHL15 for the next gen consoles. Like Vader said, that is one of, if not the most popular mode. I will be floored if it's not in the game.

All rumors, speculations and nothing concrete yet. Yes, it would be a huge disappointment if it goes missing in the next gen console especially when Ice Dragons have been debating all summer long as to which system to play for. And if EA screws this one up, I am sure that the Dragons will still buy the 360 version then. Or am I wrong?

I do not think you are wrong. The 360 version would be our only option if we want to play dragons.

I would be happy for Merace but If EA has not included OTP, we storming the castle torches in hand!

Let's hope it's all smoke XXXIV. Just sold NHL 14 to get a couple of preorders next month, it's been a blast to say the least, see you boys in about three weeks.

I read somewhere today that some dude says he heard an interview with our boy RamJag and he said the only thing not in NHL15 Next gen is the '94 Mode. Hope it's true. We need an official word. Could all be a marketing ploy by EA. If so, it's working

EA would jump on these stories and say that news is on the way if there was any. I've seen this before in Madden several years ago when they ran out of time on the franchise mode and then fed some bs about wanting to get it right etc. Back then I had a contact at EA, he has since left but this stinks of their MO when it comes to big / bad news like this.

I'm predicting it's not going to be there out of the box, but they'll introduce a subscription or some kind of payment to download the mode.

Or they'll market it as 'free' if you are part of EA Access. Otherwise you have to pay.

I guess we'll know tomorrow but I don't think NHL is listed as one of their games they're showing.???

I probably will not get NHL 15 if there is no EASHL

UPDATE: A source close to the situation claims that the build he played on Monday did not have the mode listed in the menu. It’s unclear whether any online modes were available for selection in the build, or if it was the same build I had access to a short time ago that included just a play now option.

It's so weird that they might not have EASHL, especially considering FIFA had no issues including their version of Clubs in the next-gen releases. How different can it all be?

But maybe if they don't have EASHL they will still have regular OTP. Rob and I were reminiscing a while ago in FIFA about how much we missed the pre-Club days of playing OTP with a group of friends using real teams and players and playing against totally random groups on the other side. Gave us a nice advantage!

I'll get it regardless.. but it is a little odd. If it's not in next gen this year.. I'm guessing it will be in the x360 and ps3 versions to pump those sales?

Maybe there is some sort of programming issue that they couldn't solve before release.. although maybe it's in too and it's the usual rumor mill?

If they dont have EASL and still have OTP I might still get it but its not even close for me...With the Dragons we know we have that regular friday-saturday night game. Every weekend now but one for well over a year now.

FIFA clubs looking more and more viable for me. Maybe should get EA access just to mess with that? Learn to play FIFA. Been a long time.

Cutting out EASL? Never saw that coming. They did take an extra year....Fingers crossed that its all just bs.
