Tough luck there, Alex. Sucks to go out in a shootout and Greece really played well and admirably down the stretch.

Navas' behavior didn't strike me as anywhere near that troubling, but I wasn't pulling for Hellas. :)

Best Robben view.

Total theatrics by Robben, but Marquez DID step on his foot.

I agree with Grant Wahl.

Well then I'm all out of ideas! lol

In all seriousness, it must be frustrating to see your team out-chance and out-play an opponent who just parks the bus and then you lose on penalties.....

Losses like Mexico's and Greece's are why I secretly don't want Puerto Rico to EVER qualify for a World Cup.

Not like it's gonna happen in my lifetime, but still. Just brutal,

Fantastic game between France and Nigeria, good pace and well played so far. Both sides with good chances and Enyeama who had a very good game vs Argentina with a big save. It must be much more comfortable in Brasilia today, because these two teams are going non stop.

Pretty even match.

Not close any more. Unfortunately the French really turned it on and were unlucky to not be ahead long before they converted that corner.

Yeah, it was like another gear in the second half. Too bad for NIgeria, the way they started the game controlling the midfield with good pace along the wings they had the French team guessing. Good performance by Pogba and Valbuena. The Lions look out of gas.

You mean the Super Eagles, not the Lions. Be careful with that - earn your ass a beat-down depending upon where you live. ;)
