No issues here either and it's by far the mode that I play the most. The only time I had some hiccups with the server is when I am in the store doing different transactions, other than that, no problems.

Few times my fut tourney games were 3 min long. Must've been a glitch.

I like they keep updating the tourneys this year much more than previous years. And the wc add will keep me playing till the fall. Still my fav next gen game.

That is not why they gave some freebies. It was the 5th anniversary for one of the most popular modes in any sport game and franchises like NHL and Madden are taking a good look at. NHL for the last 2 years have seen a good increase in HUT, and Madden had a good look last year. Ultimate Teams is making big bucks for EA.

Anyway I got like 103k in coins. Never bought anything. Just tourney wins plus coin multipliers. Not sure what to do w the coins now. I'm sure EA won't let you transfer them to next years game.

All FIFA 14 players on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC are currently being prompted to download an update. This is in preparation for FUT World Cup, which we are aiming to launch later today, UK time.

World Cup Kick Off mode is now live and available to download for Xbox One and PS4.

I was able to play regular FUT, but when I switched to the WC it was impossible to even put a lineup together because of the lag and drops.

Played some Play Now and it's good. Glad EA didn't charge for it. It's got some challange mode too like the full game on 360. Have not tried FUT.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really enjoying playing the World Cup Challenges (Matchday Challenges). They add a new Challenge after every World Cup game.

I REALLY would've enjoyed a separate, dedicated World Cup game on PS4. I understand EA's reasons, but still...

Haven't been doing them everyday, but they really are a great add to the game. And yeah, a next gen World Cup game would have been nice.

I don't actually know, but I tend to doubt it. They released a separate WC 14 game for 360 and PS3.

Correct. The only reason we (PS4 & X1) users got it was because there wasn't a separate World Cup game, unfortunately.

They did a fantastic job w/ the add in to the PS4 version...the WC graphics/boots/kits all look great and of course it still plays great. Free = good.
