All I know is that I have no desire to pull the Kinect out, and my wife would be pissed if I did. At this point, it would be like deciding we are going to go without a DVR.
Isn't there a new remote MS released recently? Wonder if they would bundle that into the main box now and not as an accessory.

Its usually just one button press (or quick voice command) for TV, then I use my cable remote for the rest.

Yep. I use it to navigate both my Xbox One and 360, as well as play and pause my streaming media on the consoles at night when I'm not going to talk to the TV. Works amazingly well.

The Xbox One remote will not control your TV and DVR if you do not have a Kinect, btw. It communicates with the Kinect, which sends the IR blasts. It will control everything else on the One, though.

I'm probably gonna preorder too (PS4). I have some trade in $$ with Amazon so I'll get it for almost nothing :)

I'm not sure I want to buy PSN + just for this game, and I feel like I'll be missing out on lots of the interesting stuff without online. But hey, who am I kidding, it's not like we get together around here for game nights anyway! Will probably have to resign myself to dealing with randoms. Leaning towards XBone just for online, unless I read reviews that indicate some kind of game-breaking problems due to lesser graphics, like bad frame rates or something.

I'm getting a PlayStation 4 on Tuesday.

I already ordered 2K14 for $40 from Amazon. I mostly play NBA Today in 2K anyway, so the VC and career mode troubles don't bother me as much as they do other people.

I'll get Watch Dogs next week unless the reviews suggest it's a total flop.

I'll probably download Child of Light to take turns playing with my wife, and will grab one of The Show or FIFA. Not sure which yet. I'm weighing FIFA being $40 on Amazon against FIFA 15 coming out in four months.

Only problem w/ NBA 2K14 will be the limited NBA TODAY games now with the playoffs. But it's a solid game and I think you'll enjoy the MY TEAM mode which is like EA's Ultimate team.

Definitely get FIFA 14. They are still doing updates even after most leagues have completed their seasons. That game just screams next gen quality. Gives me a lot of hope for NHL 15.

The Show is borderline. I'd say rent it and if you like it go for it. It's a good game, but if you can't sit thru 9 innings, then I'd skip it.

The Show is far from borderline. To each his own I guess.

Agree. I'm playing 1-2 games a night. Love The Show. Right now, it's the sole reason I turn on the PS4, aside from a game here and there from FIFA.

I haven't followed baseball in over 10 years, but it's 1:30 and I'm about to play another Spring Training game, so you can guess what I think of it.

Ya it's a very good game, but not everyone has the time to sit thru 9 innings of it. I'm doing short innings and it's working for me now.

I'll be getting it for XB1 as will a couple friends of mine. I know my limited online gaming presence is not really a persuasion factor but just figured I'd let ya know.

I'm getting Watchdogs for XB1 too. I wasn't looking at this for online play, but the cat and mouse hacking game looks like it might be fun.
