By the time it finished downloading on PSN, it would be May 6th already.

The camera is awesome. Reminds me just a tad of the old High Heat camera (when you are hitting at least) where there was no transition...it just zoomed back and up. It gives you a better sense of immersion. On the Vita I've been playing RTTS and I've hit some balls that look like I may have "gotten it" only to be caught by an outfielder. Very cool.

For those that have the ps3 version have you noticed any framerate / slowdown issues? I thought 12 played smoother than 13.

Some nice info on game modes, etc.

The dynamic camera view of Davis' HR at 3:40 is awesome.

wow kenny f'n powers. Great marketing by Sony. PS4 just kicking ass in every facet.

I read the ps4 version won't have classic stadiums this year. Not a deal breaker but hopefully they can add them later with an update.

Most excited I have been for a sports game in a long time. The number of modes and options is just incredible.

The PS4 version? How can you tell the difference on your buddy list if so? I know BK (who is mia around here now) has one of the versions at least.

Don't know the version, but I guess I did make the PS4 assumption due to lack of his other comments before and a past ability of his to find early copies of some titles. Could have been PS3.

Be sure to get the 1.70 Playstation 4 firmware update today so your console can download/preload the digital version of the game. Supposedly you can play right at midnight Monday night (Tuesday morning). Looking forward to it.

This very well could be my first real game I digitally download. I don't plan on selling it and don't have to worry about my son and his friends taking it in and out of the PS4 and risk scratching it. Only concern is that some people complained of frame rate issues with the Vita version download.

What modes are you guys planning on playing?

I'm thinking:

-Try a handful of games on Exhibition mode (using Live Rosters/Matchups)
-Create either a CF or Lefty SP in RTTS

I'm not sure what else to jump into:

-Maybe a Jays season using different player locks each game? (would be great for variety)
-Maybe use Manager Mode for a Jays season? Never done this, but sounds intriguing - just worried about time it will take to play each game.

Since I can't play this game yet, just had to write something about it!

I'll play a few exhibition games with full presentation to take in all the amazing new graphics and cut aways. Not too long after that, I'll start my season as I don't like to be that far behind the regular season. I'll toy with the Quick Counts, but it didn't fully grab me in the Vita version like I thought it would. They've since patched the PS3 version so I'm curious if there is more count variety. I'd love to play 2-3 games a night realistically with that feature.

Going to stay far away from the slider mess and change it on the fly as I go. I may start with the dynamic feature where it steadily increases or decreases your skill level.

Looking forward to the new camera angles. I'm sure I'll change them up quite frequently to get a different perspective.

Other than that, this game is going to eat up many many hours of my evening time!

Incohmark @ OS posted the first inning of opening day between the Rangers and Phillies. I watched very short clips as I want to experience it first hand. In any case, the game looks absolutely beautiful.

Cool video. I will play RTTS as a catcher, exhibitions with different teams and a shorten season with the Jays. Would love to get online H2H with some of you though.

In case you didn't know I am 'xeneixe' on the PSN.

After fighting through all the hoopla I was able to finally get a copy. They only had one copy left and the owner had confiscated it....luckily I know him and he's heading to Cabo next week so he was more than gracious enough to arrange for me to get it. Looks like they sold quite a few copies in the St. Louis area. Dan, Thanks for the heads up, I wish I could have gotten multiple copies.
