Feel bad for Tampa for that penalty call as that was bullshit to call that after all they ignored all third period long...

Timely first playoffs goal for Paccioretty, he's been good but wasn't rewarded until the PP. TPA did miss B. Bishop although the outcome would have been the same. They'll be well rested against BOS or DET.

Lets Go Wings!

Would be great to get an original six match vs an actual hockey team.

They can rest all they want, hell let'em rest two weeks. They don't have the horses to play on the same ice as the Presidents Cup holders...which, for those who forget, goes to the best HOCKEY team in the league. :D

Helluva game in LA. I thought the Kings were much better at home and did enough to narrow down the series especially in OT, yet they face elimination in a backhand knuckleball by Patty Marleau. Nice goal by Gaborik.

I knew there was a soft spot in that crusty old heart of yours!!

I do hope we see Habs-B's. It's still not quite the rivalry of old, but it's getting closer and is damn fun hockey.

Corey Crawford of 2012 playoffs is back. Just shoot it on net and it'll get in. Hawks done for the series.

How the Hawks are in this, I don't know. Fatigued through and through; Can't finish a period off. Played a terrific first period but clearly don't have the legs to deal with the Blues over 3 periods. These OT games are just bleeding them dry. Hope they can pull a rabbit out of their hat.

wow, how the hawks won these last 2 games amazes me. they played sloppy for long periods but still won.

for the record, hawks DID NOT celebrate like they won the cup after the OT win tonight.

WTF do I know? :)

They played a great OT. Kane was the only one of their impact players who looks to be anywhere near his best, and he was putting the work in all night. He deserved that winner.

When you've won 2 cups in the last 4 years it's called knowing it's a long road.

Regardless of how this series finishes, it's been the most entertaining one for sure.

I was thinking Smith deserved it too. As long as a Hawk scored the winner I am happy though.

Go up 3-2 and then allow Kane to just skate around. We need Backes back.. he would have put Kane on his ass.

Huge game Friday...

When you got playoff baggage, all eyes will be focused on MAF. Late in the game you got to be aware that the ice is not at its best, so the puck skips on him but when you look at the Pens D they are equally to be blamed as they are all puck watching instead of picking up a blue jersey. Fleury should have stopped the winner in OT but again how does the team allow 45 shots?

Big momentum change for CBJ.

I also think that DAL has an upperhand now, specially when ANA's captain is day to day. All of the sudden Boudreau has a goalie controversy in his hands, this series will probably go the distance.

Definitely time to be nervous in Anaheim. How worthless are Bruce Boudreau teams in the playoffs?

Still, ANA and PIT aren't truly in trouble so long as they take game 5 at home, which I still expect them to do.

Yes. Smith had some chances in OT. They were the more dangerous team in OT for sure.

Kane took the game and the momentum in the series for the Hawks with that goal. So VERY well done.

Though after my initial Goal! and YESS!, I did think of the fan at the begining of Slap Shot who after Ned scored yelled" Thats what your paid for Braden!" 8)

Props to Bickel as well whose late third period tying goal may have saved the season for the Hawks.

Backes, you mean the choir boy who got hurt and all of St. Louis cried because he never does anything dirty. That guy? :D

If he returns then it is clear the NHL has no concussion protocols in place.
