Oh yeah and way to go Magic Man!
Stop crying its not like the puck went in the net after it went out of play.

What? :?

He wasn't crying... He just yelled " suck my balls!"

What do you want? The man said he was sorry.

So a $25,000 fine for grabbing your own crotch and a $5,000 fine for wacking someone else's crotch with your stick? Yeah that makes sense.

They are going to be ok. It's going to be a close series, Crawford has to stay sharp.

It's the NHL, what do you expect it's run by a bunch of dick heads.

He should not have done that.

That was bad on the refs not making a call right away. It was interference or charging even if he misses his head. The guy did not have the puck.

Worse than maybe losing the game ...He will get a suspension too.

GO BLUES! What a cheapshot by Seabrooke though but hey...they finally got David Backes. Too bad they are heading back to Chicago down 2 games! Blues are focused on the bigger picture right now....so they probably just continue to pay their game. Maybe some payback before it's over though...hopefully. Also Greg Millen reported that they have audio of Toews saying "Wakey Wakey Backes" while he was knocked out on the ice. Lost a lot of respect for Johnny T today if that report is accurate.

It was all Pens in the first and since they went up 3-1 they let go the pedal. The CBJ have taken the game since and yet another game goes into OT. Tight affair.

Well I wouldn't go that far but both games were come from behind OT wins...so I'm pretty sure any team would be pretty excited over that instead of a regulation win.

There's some serious carnage in the Blues-Hawks series. Seabrook will get suspended for sure, at least for the remaining of the series but the league will probably just give 2-3 games. Keith better smarten up too, trying to get under Tarasenko's skin did not get the zebras attention at all. Bickell's knee on Sobotka was dirty too.

And the CBJ just evens the series in double OT, good game for them.

Steve Rosenbloom gets it right in the Trib:
Heartless, dirty and stupid will get you beat.

Just ask the Blackhawks.

It’s as if the Hawks were begging to blow Game 2 of the playoff series against the Blues, and St. Louis accommodated.

The Hawks were heartless early, and they were dirty and stupid late, choking away another third-period lead and losing another game in overtime.

Frankly, they deserved it. They deserved to lose a game in which they looked like amateurs a majority of the time.

It was enough to make you grab your crotch in disgust.

The Hawks came out reluctant to go to the tough areas and they weren’t wild about defending those spots, either. If they didn’t lose every battle for loose pucks, then they were losing the important ones.

This was how a defending champion responds to a triple-overtime loss?

The Hawks gave up the first goal again, and this time they allowed the Blues to score late in the first period for a 2-0 lead.

Uninspired. Unmotivated. Lazy. Inept. Just dumb. However you want to characterize the Hawks’ start, it was embarrassing the way they gave away the first 30 minutes Saturday afternoon.

Their power play became such a joke that two Olympians collided at the St. Louis blue line to create a shorthanded breakaway.

The Hawks drew enough lazy and stupid penalties in the second period that a rout wasn’t far off. But at least the Hawks’ penalty killers were engaged. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to leave the Hawks just one shot away from making it a game.

And Duncan Keith launched that shot late in the second period, firing a puck past Ryan Miller after it deflected off one of Miller’s teammates.

Note the formula: Slap shot by a Hawks defenseman, deflection off a Blues skater, puck in the back of the net.

Unbelievably, that worked two more times. Brent Seabrook tied the game that way early in the third period, and a couple minutes later, Michal Rozsival put the Hawks ahead.

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville demanded traffic in front of the Blues net to beat Miller, and thankfully the Blues accommodated.

And so, after three lucky bounces, the Hawks tried to protect another third-period lead. They failed to do it in Game 1. They failed in Game 2, only this time, they added a special brand of dirty and stupid.

Bryan Bickell stuck out his left leg and blatantly nailed Vladimir Sobotka’s knee. That’s not just dirty and stupid, that Canuck dirty and stupid.

The Blues went on the power play with less than five minutes to go in a one-goal game, and before the Hawks could kill it and get out of trouble and get out of St. Louis with a split, Seabrook launched himself into Blues captain David Backes and likely launched himself into a suspension.

Seabrook lined up Backes behind the Hawks’ net and drove his right shoulder into Backes’ face, drawing blood and a major penalty.

Again, Canuck-caliber dirty and stupid.

You cannot target the head. You cannot make the head the principal point of contact. And you’re an idiot to risk what happened while trying to kill a penalty and protect a late lead in a playoff game in a series you already trail by a game.

And so, of course the Blues scored the tying goal. They did it excruciatingly late --- 6.4 seconds remained --- and forced a second straight overtime affair because the Hawks blew a second straight lead in the dying minutes.

If you believe in cheater’s proof, you shouldn’t be surprised that Barrett Jackman scored 5:50 into overtime to give the Blues the victory and a two-games-to-none series lead.

If you don’t believe in hockey karma, then go with this: Is that any way to win a Stanley Cup?
To my eyes so far it's as much a case of the Hawks frustration over not being able to play their game their way as anything else. I think the combo of good tough Blues hockey, too many key players out of form because of recent injury and overall fatigue after the long run last season, short offseason and the Olympics is just making it tough for their best players to dictate the play. You have a possession team that just can't keep the puck. Their stretch passes are just not connecting and they're losing on far too many of the effort plays.

Maybe they turn this around, but right now I'd rather see them go down trying to do what they do best rather than taking out their frustrations by playing like knuckleheads.

This is the goal that raised some eyebrows. He's only 18, what speed, what skills.

Avs are for real, and they are doing it without M. Duchene.

Absolutely disgusting...still don't know if it's Keith or Toews mocking him with the "Wakey Wakey Backes" there but Backes has the heart of a warrior....he was completely out of it and still got up and was ready to throw down....he still would have beat Toews ass after being blown up like that! Freaking Toews acting all tough there after the big hit..LOL..what a joke. Finishing the Hawks off is the best revenge but rest assured...there will be a payback eventually and it will be well deserved!

Seapuss should be out the rest of this series. Don't worry about Toews, Reaves already put a smashing on him so he'll have more coming to him.

Great response though, tying the game and then winning in OT. This series has just heated up, GO BLUES!!!
