Just gotta give Patty Roy credit for pulling his goalie out with two minutes + to go and tie the game into OT. They've done it consistently this season while trailing in the third and it pays off again.

I didn't get to see the Flyers game but from what I've been told they were outplayed. Looked like Emory did a nice job in Mason's place but they gave up too many shots to a team that they are better than offensively. The double minor in the third was a killer. Akeson probably didn't sleep last night. Well, he's a rook so it happens. Gotta get the split at MSG tomorrow.

I only saw the second half of the game. Flyers were completely discombobulated on offense. Game was 1-1, but the few chances that were happening were all Rangers. The penalty caused the dam to break. It was a solid Rangers win, period.

And how about goals being scored in these games! I was not expecting that. I was also just watching highlights of the sharks game, and amazingly the Kings were lucky to only be down 5–0 after two. Could have been worse!

Sharks have speed and everything bounced their way yesterday. They have a few veterans that didn't make it to the Olympics and that's going to help guys like Thornton, Boyle, little Joe...Hertl will try to get some sweet revenge against the always unintentional on purpose dirty plays of D. Brown and they'll continue to keep getting traffic in front of Quick.

Not all games are going to be a blowout, but this Sharks team is no slouch.
