Re: NFL 2013-14
CK doesn't impress me at all. I think his window is small. He does not make enough plays with his arm and legs fade away. He is still young and may develop but I sure wouldn't invest in him at this point. Russell Wilson didn't impress me until I saw him live last year. I was very impressed with his arm, poise, and escapability. He does need to learn to not run backwards so much or at all really but I think his future is much brighter.
I am a patient boy.

Re: NFL 2013-14
I'm finding the Pro Bowl to be very entertaining to this point. They got me to tune in because of the drafted teams but they are actually hitting a little bit to the dismay of the giant p***y QB's. 1st Half was good.

All the yammering for two entire weeks and some random schmuck writing in to Bill Simmons does a better job of putting a point on the most overlooked story of the SB better than all the talking heads on all the TV shows, radio shows and podcasts. Great job, media!
Q: I was thinking of titles for the inevitable 30 for 30 in a couple years on the Seahawks after the whole organization gets suspended for a season due to PEDs. This was the best I could come up with: “The Space Needles”. Thoughts?

SG: I like The Space Needles slightly more than I like Guiltless in Seattle or The Greenie River, but not as much as I like The Real 12th Man.

Re: NFL 2013-14
I will be rooting for the Broncos and for Manning.
I think the game will be decided by the Seahawks pass rush. They get to manning and I fear they may, they will win.

Re: NFL 2013-14
Not a bad bet. You know that Manning will be throwing the ball all day long, and the secondary will be ready for it, so who knows maybe Moreno maybe the intangible guy for the Broncos. Running the ball with Lynch may not be enough I am afraid, so if Wilson can get back to his magic escapes from the pocket shown during the beginning of the season and be more accurate in his throws especially on third downs, the game maybe a thrill to watch.XXXIV wrote:I will be rooting for the Broncos and for Manning.

I am saying 31-28. Seahawks in OT.
Re: NFL 2013-14
I'm predicting Broncos run away with it, 31-10, although I'd prefer a close game where Manning wins it on the final drive.

LOB!

Re: NFL 2013-14
It's weird seeing both of these teams in the big game. Nice to see some new blood. Contrast of colors. Let's get it on!
Re: NFL 2013-14
Refs already f***ed up the coin toss. Does not bode well for the refereeing this game.
Re: NFL 2013-14
WTF how is that not a first down? Even after replay?

Re: NFL 2013-14
Having horrible frame rate issues with my directv feed. Has the slightest stutter. Anyone else experiencing this?
Re: NFL 2013-14
I'm on cable, no issues.
Re: NFL 2013-14
Seattle is dominating but only up 8 points.
Re: NFL 2013-14
Manning freaking.
Its LOB time right now.

Re: NFL 2013-14
This is a blowout. This has a feeling more like a Seattle home game than a Super Bowl.
Can even the great Peyton Manning make up 15 points on this Seattle defense?
Will the Bronco's be the first Franchise to lose 5 Super Bowls?

Re: NFL 2013-14
OVER. Feel sorry for Manning.

TD hawks.
This is turning into an old school SB.
The only thing I have had to cheer so far is the Canadian flag in the end zone.

Defense wins championships.
Maybe Seattle will get the first shutout in a SB.

Re: NFL 2013-14
I am NOT counting #18 out at all, but it is damn surprising that he's struggling with the offense. This asphyxiating young Hawks D is what I am used to seeing during much part of the early season.
Now, if the beast gets going then it's lights out. Go Seahawks!

I've never seen a game dictated on the first play of the game. That safety seemed to put the Bronco's in a funk and gave the confidence Seattle needed.
