Next week on SYMMONS PLAINS,

Spoken in the voice of Don LaFontaine:
Welcome to Symmons Plains, Australia – where the lives of an internet sports gaming forum have been altered forever by the console departure of a libertarian who shook up their world.

When the series returns for season four, TOCA 3 poker night seems like a distant memory to the old DSP crowd, who have been thrust into reality after the heartbreaking loss of their beloved pk500 to the world of DS gaming.

Who heads to PS3 to try to put the past behind them? Who stays in Xbox-land because they can’t let the past go (or get the funds and spousal permission to upgrade to Xbox360)? Will Zeppo go "Wii" after causing the tragic accident that retired TCrouch? Or will Provo decide that the way to heal is through revenge?

It’s a battle for pk’s soul as the Mario Bros. struggle to keep him focused on the future, fighting the forces that threaten to pull him back into his old life......

Now that's more like it, Don! I guess Piggy wasn't racing with us that night. That still was one of the funniest nights I can remember on XBL. :)

So I recently took the original Xbox One out of storage and played TOCA 3 for a couple of nights this past week, game still looks and plays great. If they were to make an exact port of this game with updated graphics it would be one of the best racers on the new consoles and hopefully there is a TOCA 4 in development for the new systems. Juan Guerro Loma forever!

My favorite Toca games were Toca and Toca 2 on the original Playstation. I still have Toca 3/4, IRL, and the Colin McRae games on the original Xbox. Still good games but Codemasters produced 2 gems and they were more representative of the sport with their first 2 games.
