Agree with this, but as it is I'm hoping they're able to get the rules straight for next year. I'm completely in the tank for Manning, who I think is foolishly indicted for his playoff record, but the Pats have beaten his teams several times over the years by capitalizing on the same kind of defensive holding that the league has seemingly sanctioned this season. I fully expect the same result this time. I particularly think that Julius Thomas' inexperience will be an issue in this regard. Then we'll be left with another avalanche of lazy analysis about how it's Manning's fault.

That's a dude with big balls that will turn him into '12' terms of immortality or turn into a complete jackwagon. Regardless I am getting a bit sweaty about the match up on Sunday. M.Lynch is the key guy if Seahawks are to win, the Niners pass rush will put a lot of pressure on Wilson and the front guys have to just find enough holes for Lynch to explore. There's no hatred lost between these two teams, personally I always respected the 49'ers since the days of Bill Walsh, Montana and Rice. They are a fine franchise turned into a circus by a dude that loves himself way too much with the initials JH.

To be honest, he's got his peaks and valleys this season. Started very well, took a drop when a couple of receivers went down (I still believe he misses dearly Sydney Rice and so do I for that matter), looks like Harvin is out again and for the last 4-5 games including the regular season he's been good but not spectacular as he can be. At least, what I like about him is his overall demeanor, he doesn't panic when the the score is adverse, maintains his composure and rarely gives the ball away.

The Niners's pass rush is going to be strong, and he's got to remain cool. Along using his TE's more, running with Lynch as much as possible is the key to advancing to the SB. Look forward to the Wilson to rookie TE Willson combo tomorrow.

They don't have the benefit of slow-motion replays on the field. I don't blame them. I would like to see them make it an automatic replay from upstairs though like touchdowns and turnovers are.
