No need to thank me. It was in the spirit of Christmas.
Loooving Zen Pinball 2. I like how you can see your friends scores and try to surpass them, as opposed to Pinball Arcade. Murph, I'm looking at you (Sorcerer's Lair)!!!
Got my PS4 and NBA 2k14. Not much to add right now other than to say I love the controller. I did have a code for a month of PSN free and this was not a launch system.
I do like that Sony didn't feel the need to reinvent their interface. It's easy to navigate but you can also dig into some detailed submenus when needed.

Damn it. I just got that high score yesterday. You're a selfish jerk, Dan.

I will add a couple more:
- My XB1 turned on yesterday with a voice command but the controllers wouldn't work...solved it with a reboot.
- Remote play didn't work last night on my Vita...just hung up.

Hey Rob,

Yup, PC gaming is a real headache isn't it.
Love you too!
.
LOL Fair point. I'm sure we'll now see a stampede of consumers headed to get gaming PC's at $2500 a pop.

Well, it only took me about 7 tries and about an hour's worth of playing. Before I set my high score, I had come within 700 points. I was only going to give it one more game, and then I was rolling. As good as I thought I did, I still rank like 691 on that table, which is insane how good some of these people are.
I really wish there was a way to pay a cheaper price an upgrade my tables from the 360 to the PS4. I've probably played that pinball game more than anything I own.

I'm sort of gosling out hope they do a version of pinball fx 2 for Xbone and allow cheap or free tables for ones already bought on XBLA version, but I can find any info indicating they will. I'm just not interested in buying all those tables for full price again.

Another reason to hang on to the old consoles - no need to buy remakes of games that will play just as well on 360 or PS3.
My XB1 and 360 are sitting side by side under my main gaming TV. WiiU and Wii on the other TV. When I get PS4 I will be keeping the PS3 as well. Both my "last gen" consoles are loaded with digital games that I still would like to play. Then there are another dozen or so retail games I hope to start and/or finish.

And you'll be able to use the MUCH improved DS4 on the PS3 too.

I have a little shelf under my TV's that have the PS3 and 360 connected to one screen, and the PS4 and XBox One connected to the other screen. I don't think I'll be getting rid of any of them anytime soon. Now that I replaced my HDD on the PS3 and can use the DS4 on it, I'm going back and playing all sorts of crap I never did on the old console.

I haven't gotten rid of any, I just don't have enough HDMI ports or shelf space in my main area to have everything on one TV. PS3 got moved to the bedroom but the XB1 is there as well. I'd like to get it into my theater room but that means moving my 360.

Tried out a few demo tables of Zen Pinball 2. Of course, they only let you play a few minutes of each, but every table seems to better than the next. Fear Itself in my short time playing it is amazing. This game is going to be a major time suck for me. Absolutely love it.
If you have the PS4 camera, then you have to downloaded Playroom. Yeah, it's more or less a tech demo, but do yourself a favor and download the new free add-on "My Alien Buddy". It's a cool new little time waster that your kids will love. Also, the ability to use the second screen as your phone or tablet to draw something and throw it on to the screen for the robots to play with is pretty wild. Hopefully, Sony supports the camera, as it does seems to be selling quite well.
The voice commands on the PS4, while not nearly as abundant or cool as the X1, are pretty responsive. I hadn't really used them in my short time with the camera, but they work fairly flawlessly. It's neat to call out "man to man" or "timeout" in 2K14. I tested out the technical foul, and yes the "bulls**t" call will get you T'd up. Telling the system to go back to the home screen works well, or back to the game, as does powering down the PS4. I can see using it when I remember. Hopefully, they'll add more voice commands over time.

The game is an absolute blast and addictive, part of the fun is beating others scores and there were a lot of people who owned it on the 360. Someone here use to give away free table codes as well.
I'm going to be sticking with it on the 360 because as previously stated there is no incentive to repurchase the tables which is a shame, there are only minor graphical upgrades to the game which IMO are impossible to even notice when playing. It would of been nice if they added a tournament mode for friends where you could enter a party chat and then play against each other.
I hope some more top notch indie games come out next month with the same quality as this title.

Is the game not on XBOX One? I was able to DL the tables I owned on PS3 for free on the PS4.
to me there seems to be a delay with the flippers and the controller buttons. Nobody else?
Finally made the jump to next gen and picked up a Xbox One. I picked up Battlefield 4 along with it and I am impressed. Too bad my dvr doesn't have an hdmi out. I would love to hook the tv stuff up. I downloaded the demos for FIFA, NBA Live, and Dead Rising 3. Was hoping for a Ryse demo. FIFA is stunning.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.

Haven't noticed that, but someone said to make sure your tv is in Game Mode. I myself am playing on a plasma.

I gotta imagine Zen Pinball 2 will show up on the X1 sooner than later, and offer the same deal to upgrade. I'd definitely hold off.
If I have one complaint about the game, some of the tables are a bit too colorful, which I can imagine can cause eye strain after a while.

PSN seems to be down again. Haven't had any issues until yesterday, so hopefully things will get smoothed out after the big onslaught of the new owners trying to access online.
Was at Target today, and finally saw two PS4s sitting in the case. First time I've seen any since launch.
