Do you play Diablo on 360, Mix? That and F1 are the only games I still play regularly on my 360. My brother, wife, and myself are all used to running around as a trio with level 60s. We are barely messing with the paragon levels at this point, though. Never had a huge reason to go build them up with just magic/gold find boosts. But with the expansion, that might change.
I was STUNNED at how well the game works on the 360 controller. It's my preferred way to play, at this point.

Anyone who grew up on PC gaming experienced what Rob has. I'm just saying to think those hassles are prevalent now would be incorrect. I could counter every point by why beat this horse again.

They're nowhere near as prevalent, for sure. But as the technical irritants have decreased, my tolerance for dealing with them has disappeared altogether. If I spend 15 minutes doing anything but playing games during my limited game-playing time, my head explodes. And at this point I'm treating my PC case like it doesn't even have screws anymore. I'm getting a new machine before going in there to upgrade or do anything else.

Diablo III is my game of the year...fantastic game. I'm surprised there wasn't more discussion on it here.

It's there. I just tore up some Arabian Knights.
Did you have any issues with the sound? Mine is muffled for some reason. It's only that game. I've deleted and reinstalled it too. No change. I'm also having some difficulty finding a camera view I like.

I played through the campaign with my wife on the 360. She heard me rave about Diablo for years but she doesn't play games (other than puzzle games) on the PC. We blasted through the campaign on PC but then we both got busy with work and other activities and then the XB1 came out so we haven't been back to it. I know we can still hook up the 360 and play it but it would be awesome to have it on the XB1 with the additional content when it launches. And playing with controller is my preferred method now too. I tried to play a bit on the PC after finishing it on 360 and it's just not the same.

They are not AS prevalent now but they still exist. Every time I've tried to spend any serious amount of time PC gaming I have run into some headache. A few months ago I tried RaceRoom Racing Experience and had infuriating random crashes. I tried the BF4 beta and it wouldn't even finish loading without locking up on me. And in the past two years I've replaced RAM, power supply, and video cards trying to stop some very random lock ups. Ends up it was the hard drive as they went away when I upgraded to an SSD. But I still spent $400 trying to diagnose the issue. So it may not be as prevalent as it used to be but the issues are still there. And don't get me started on having to reconfigure every damn key on the keyboard every time I play a PC FPS just because I don't happen to like WASD. On console I just play. I'm glad you have a super stable system and don't experience any of the issues I do but it's just not worth it for me most of the time. Blizzard games seem to be the only ones that never have issues on my system.
Sorry for veering off topic again but I don't just "think" those hassles exist, I game on PC too and experience them so I know they exist.

I confess my gaming PC cost me the price of 7 Xbox 1's thus I do not need to upgrade very often. I expect it to last me another 4 to 5 years at which point I'll probably care more about watching pron then playing games, it's pretty close to that point now
However just to put some context on the point I was trying to make. I started my Windows 7 PC, Nvidia Geoforce experience told me there was an update ready to install. I did that and then it scanned my games and found 10 more it could optimize.
I then started Steam, it downloaded 10 updates for me and then I told it to get Walking Dead Season 2 started, After I type this message I'll go have dinner and come back and play. 5+ years ago that would of required my whole evening to do. Maybe it is my reliance on Steam and my hardware which has my view of skewed.

First I really don't have a desire to debate this. I get there are not a lot of PC gamers here. Also I'm not sure how you got to this statement by the bottom of your post. I said they were not prevalent, not they didn't exist. I buy some games that crash or have issues, but it more like 1 or 2 out of 20.

Back to consoles - Peggle 2 is really good. No, seriously, its REALLY good!
You know, it really is. But it also fails to live up to the original's standard.
It's missing leader boards, which eliminates score chasing. It has half the characters has a big effect on play styles. And it shrunk the screen down significant to allow space on the feet for the characters. The result is far more free balls going into the bucket than the first game. Finally, the music for the first one was much better for zoning at and playing.
But overall, it's still Peggle, and it's still a lot of fun. I just wish it had not changed quite so much.

I have recent Ryse clips?
lol I played some Gladiator co-op mode with Steve from OS tonight, so it must auto-upload that stuff, I'm guessing. I haven't touched any of that, but yeah--Ryse can be some silly fun in short doses. I'll keep it for quite a while.
Someone gave me a code to dload Ryse for free. And after 2 hours with it, I love it. Definitely THE showcase game for next gen graphics. Look amazing. The neg reviews were around the repetitive gameplay, but I find it a blast. Also great voice acting to go with the graphics. I womder if this is the best looking game of launch titles (both systems). Also, the smart glass app works great it with. Double bonus.

That's funny. Yes, they are auto mini clips that it puts on the friends activity feed. You should see a notification at the bottom of your screen that looks like an achievement notification, but says clip recorded instead.

Lucky you, does your friend have another code?!

Count me in as another that is really enjoying Ryse. I understand the mediocre reviews around the gameplay as it could have been so much more. But it's still fun.
I've been really itching to play the Co-Op Gladiator mode. Anyone wanna try to join me tonight for some brutal mayhem?

I saw that, but didn't know they were accessible to somebody else automatically. That's kinda trippy. I figured it would be recorded to a DVR and then I'd have to choose to upload it.
And yeah--I've said since I played it the first time that it might be the best looking game I've ever seen. The combat is repetitive, yeah. But any game is, really. At least with Ryse you have to use all 4 buttons and you don't have the tell-tale flashes over a bad guy's head that he's about to hit you. Have to pay attention and know your position...stay out of trouble by rolling away, etc. I like it.
I've been asking to try the Gladiator mode with somebody for a month until I finally got to test it last night. So hell yeah, I'll do some co-op.

What's even more trippy is that the Kinect also records what it sees and we can watch videos of you sitting in your living room while you're playing. It's nice to see I'm not the only one to game in the nude.
