Yep.
Giddy up.
Just finished my first game of NBA2k14. Definitely a PRETTY game. Lots of stuff going on. I'm a little rusty with the controls etc. but, man it's a nice looking game. Plays pretty much the way I expected...classic NBA2k gameplay. Now on to KillZone.
As mentioned above, KZ is a beautiful game. I'm am VERY early in the campaign but I've acquire some gear that is damn cool. If you've seen the vids of the game then you've seen the 'Owl' which is your own personal drone...and it's damn cool. I'll leave it at that . Textures and draw distance are fantastic. Game moves fluidly. Gonna be a long as weekend of gaming.

I don't think so. This one enables voice recognition besides the usual motion controls.

My plus code isn't working (but the $10 psn one did)
Madden is nt the debacle it was on back with the 360 launch that's for sure. Is it a huge leap? No, but it's noticeable for sure. It'll hold me for this year and I'm glad I sold my 360 version back when I did.
BF4 - BOOM!!! This game alone makes me feel great about upgrading to the PS4. Maybe you PC gamers with high end rigs won't be in awe, but the leap from ps3 to ps4 is insane.
To top off my giddiness I've still got what many are calling the best launch title to go yet in NBA when it arrives on Monday.
Only have played NBA 2k14 so far and holy hell its a huge upgrade visually over the 360 version. If you even remotely like basketball you simply have to get the game. Goodness.
Holy s***, just finished the first chapter of KillZone and I am super impressed by the visuals. It's definitely one of the games to showcase the graphical capabilities of this beast. Pretty damn bad ass.
Just connected the Vita for remote play and it's pretty impressive. I'm doing it directly using WiFi and there is no lag. Haven't tried a game yet but it's a solid feature of the console.
Not impressed with the interface so far, that's for damn sure. What a mess it is overall. Logically, it makes little sense. The install of game updates is clunky as hell...the install of games when you first put them in is even worse. All of the games notify you that they are installing in different ways so it's not universal. Ugh. Bad first impression system wise.
I seriously need some primer videos on all the features. Is there no way to edit a vdie clip down. Also I thought I was broadcasting but I don't see anything saved in my twitch channel.
I'm ready to east a little crow. Madden plays better than I thought it would. Still not digging the graphics and some other minor things but I can play D-line and feel like I am doing something.
True step takes getting use to on defense.

I am really impressed with 2K so far... I have no idea what I am doing on the court and am getting killed even on the default settings but the game itself is impressive... the graphics are also great.
I am not sure how this is compared to the 360 / ps3 version but the PS4 version does not seem like a stripped down launch title to me.
I knew the install process took a while from reading here, so I just started that and then flipped over to my local media player and started watching Casino for about 40 minutes, then after the wife was asleep flipped back to my PS4 and started playing..
I really don't like the UI in general with the PS4 (didn't like the PS3 one either and am tired of the 360 interface) - but it is not horrible.

2k is the same as the 360 version, except with a new menu interface (which is not exactly a good thing).

Yeah it's pretty bare bones and confusing at first. I will say I'm more used to it after a day, but I do question why some things are set up the way they are. I do like that I can move quickly thorough the UI. But I whole heartedly agree about the auotmatic installs. It's cumbersome and doesn't provide the gamer a whole lot of information. I hope over time Sony listens to their fan base and makes changes accordingly.
