Well even with no help from the refs the Phins won. This is the first time I really was impressed with RT. He passed when he needed to, took chances down the field, was accurate played smart and got the $60 million man involved. The defense also tightened up on Luck and Jordan got pressure on Luck.

Oh and I must say that I really liking cutler this year.

Over coming stupid 2nd half pics two straight weeks to lead the team down for wins at games end.

Seriously impressed!

Good grief, the Redskins are awful right now. I feel like the Danny re-hired Spurrier, how much of an undisciplined shambles this team is.

RGIII is not good. Maybe after the bye (week 5) he will be closer to normal, but unfortunately it is looking like he won't be close to full form until next year if ever.

The defense is a disaster. They have done nothing effective in solving the very serious safety problem they had all last season. I think Merriweather is done now, after his concussion today. He should also be fined at the least, and I don't know maybe suspended, for that hit on Lacy that put Lacy out of the game. He's played less than one complete half now in the two seasons he's been with the Redskins so far. And after getting rid of Landry before last season, it's just a mess back there. So many rookies in the defensive backfield, and it ain't working. We have about 2.5 NFL level CBs and zero NFL level safeties, and I don't care who else is on the field elsewhere, a defensive backfield that poor is a major Achilles heel that will be exploited ruthlessly. It seems Ryan Kerrigan is the only good player on the defense, at least until Barry Colfield's hand heals up. London looks like he's just too old (of course I said the same thing in the first part of last season) and Orakpo isn't at his best yet.

And special teams is a bit of a mess with Aussie punter super inconsistent and our ace rookie kicker from last year missing his only attempt so far this year and now injured, and his rookie replacement missing his only attempt today.

Not good.

Having an $18M salary can penalty the last two season certainly doesn't help the team be competitive against the other teams in the league, but they shouldn't be this bad even when being forced to play by different rules.

As they say, it's not how you start, it's how you finish, but starting 0-2 is a big hole in this league. The NFC East isn't a very good division, so there's hope just like last season that 10-6 or even 9-7 could win, but right now I don't see the Redskins being very competitive with this defense as awful as it is and with Griffin in a severe slump throwing the ball and unable to make plays with his legs.

Not much fun so far. Next week we get Megatron and the Detroits at FedEx in my planned personal home opener. DB, if you want to hear some Redskin fan style Spurrier-level boos, watch out, because if they get into another first quarter hole next week, the torches and pitchforks will be out for Shanahan and especially Haslett.

Saw this tweeted this morning.

Memo to 0-1 Ravens, Redskins, Packers, Falcons: over last 4 seasons, 30 teams have started 0-2; none have made playoffs.

RGIII has been bad in the first half of both games, but the Redskins defense is really the main culprit. They look as bad if not worse than the Saints D last year.

It hasn't been particularly pretty, but 2-0 is 2-0 for the Bears. Given that the rest of the league hasn't looked particularly good both weeks outside of the Broncos, I'll take it.

The Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Colts for a 1st rd pick. I wonder if the Browns are trying to suck for Johnny Football?

Oh I forgot, did anyone hear about the Tebow rally in Jacksonville the other day. 15 fans showed up and 30 media members to cover them. You don't think the media is dying for more Tebow. LOL

That cameraman should be b*tch slapped for not warning Pam Oliver. It's like he's tracking the football as it's headed towards her face.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rams looking bad! 10-0 already.

Terribly coached at this point. Third straight week they get crushed at the gate. Game started at noon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finnegan raped for the dallas td.

At least now the zebras have a text book play they can use for calling offensive pass interference. I guess it depends on team and situation now. No longer about fair play. nba rules.

The best part was that the very same ref called an imaginary PI on Finnegan to keep that drive alive.

EDIT: Now 17-0 but is still early. Worst start I have seen from a Ram team since last week.

Hoping for a first first down this drive.

EDIT 2: Ask and you shall receive...First down Rams! Sadly it died alone as they had to punt right after.

Edit 3: fisher makes some half time adjustments, cowboys take the kickoff, drive down field and shove it up his ass. TD Cowboys! 24-0.

I don't really have an opinion on Fisher, but in my world when you have 18 yards of offense in a half there's a serious personnel problem.

So was SB Nation correct when they said the read option will go the way of the wildcat? Kaepernick and RGIII have not been as effective as they were last year.
