Finny was horrible today.. I mean, REALLY horrible.

Our DL looks absolutely awesome though.. some holds that never were called on Quinn.. looks like they knew what they were getting with him, he's a BEAST!

A win is a win though.. and I'll take it!

WOW Giants get a TD for the very same thing the Lions got one taken away for.

Something really NBA going on in goodell's head.

I so hate cheating.

The OL did not give up a sack to a very good Bengals DL. Anything is possible in this insane new world, so cut us some slack. :)

It is cut....They were pretty good. As was Cutler.

I do prefer a winning Bear team. Happy people = good week at work.

The drive in should be entertaining as well. 8)

The NFL Ticket that came with the Amazon Anniversary Edition of Madden worked like a charm. What a steal! I was able to hookup a PC to a TV and the quality was more than acceptable, although certainly not as crystal clear as the amazing quality on Fios. At one point in my basement I had the Steelers on one TV, NFL Red Zone on another, and I had the Sunday Ticket going on the iPad. The only problem was the Sunday Ticket was a good minute or two behind Red Zone so there were spoilers. I tried it out on the iPhone using 3G and it was smooth as well.

That is what made yesterday's Bears win very satisfying despite the team getting off to a rough start offensively. To have a line with two rookies and a new left tackle handle one of the better defensive lines in the league was very encouraging. It also says a lot about Phil Emery's ability to evaluate talent.

It took 30 minutes for Redskin fans to turn on their team. Who do they think they are, Eagles fans? :D

Easy Danimal  I'm so excited right now. Love this offense. I'm more surprised at how the D and special teams are playing. The ST were an embarrassment last year.

The 'skins were absolutely horrible in the first half. HORRIBLE.

But I'm sure Eagles fans are ecstatic.

D got a little too conservative in second half. The Avant fumble changed the game. The failed Skins comeback never materializes without that fumble. Still a great statement win for the Birds.

A 6-point win over a team with an incredibly rusty QB at that. I know the offense looked great, but if you don't think the league will catch up in three weeks (especially when defenses have been gearing up all off-season for these single-wing plays before Kelly even showed up), you're probably very mistaken.

Don't want to rain on Eagles fans' parades, but man there's a lot of nonsense talk out and about after that game. Everyone is entitled to enthusiasm this time of year though.

It's really difficult to run the hurry up for an entire game in the NFL. The Eagles offense was amazing in the first half but immediately fizzled when they had to slow down to eat up the clock. Plus the Redskins D adjusted really well in the second half.

I'd be happy if I were an Eagles fan, but there's a piece of good advice from Mr. Wolf in Pulp Fiction that comes to mind....

Well Vick has problems playing enough games under conventional offenses.

Not sure how long he's going to last when they are running more plays, including a lot of running plays for him.

I don't see him lasting long if he doesn't learn to protect himself better. It's one thing to try and make a play or get extra yards for a first down. It's another to take contact and dive headfirst when he doesn't need to.

In terms of personnel, though, I think Kelly has a lot to work with. Vick seemed comfortable, the line did well, and McCoy seems like a great back for the system. I think Rob's right that a couple weeks of film study may allow defenses to catch up, but for now, it's pretty fun to watch and effective.

My main league does, but we also have a keeper league where we can trade future draft picks. Any player can be kept as long as you draft them three rounds higher the next season. Last year we added the trading of picks and that has been great. Both of those things help keep the teams that are out of it engaged, as they usually will trade guys they can't keep for keepers or picks.

Our 16 team league (which is nearly 20 years old now) still uses rounds. We draft defensive positions as well. So, the idea of an auction with all of those players would take forever. If we ever move to 'team defense', we'd prob move to an auction draft.

Wow, XXXIV is right NFL refs are the worst.

RT clearly gets a 1st down on a second effort, knee never touched and Pagano challenges and the Zebras move the ball back, Indy ball.

Well as proven in multiple ways by the scumbag who got jail time, the nba will always be the worst as they dont even hide that they are straight up cheaters. But yeah, the NFL refs suck major balls. games are starting to take on that nba flavor.

Oh and Rams .... The games start at noon and not at 1:45.
