And those numbers were almost certainly impacted by the fact that there were significant power outages around here. I don't think that the ratings model would account for what was almost certainly a significant amount of viewers forced to their phones/tablets or bars.

I guess everyone forgot game 2 was tonight. Well another OT! Boston tough, they survived the Hawks onslaught first half of the game, holding them to 1 goal. Got that well earned goal in the 2nd with only 4 shots on goal at that point all game.

Maybe every game this series will go OT.

Well, Bruins had most of the chances in OT, you could tell that players were hoping this wouldn't go to another OT, nice wrister by Paille. Big game by Rask.

Kane/Toews/Hossa MIA again.

2/3 of those guys haven't shown up in the last 3 series. If that continues, Hawks won't be able to beat Boston.

So I was in a bar. Can someone explain to me why the Hawks second goal was waiver off when replay clearly showed it going in?

I didn't see the game, but the discussion on Twitter is that the ref blew the whistle before the puck went in.

Oh thanks that makes sense. When you can't hear the commentary its hard to figure out what is going on. Right after the play I am like that wasn't a goal. Then between periods this mysterious new replay clearly shows it going in.

Bottom line is they Hawks should of put 2-3 up in the first period alone. Plus you can't turn the puck over that many time in your own end and expect to win. This is going to be a hell of a series.

Stanley Cup champs are made on nights like this one. Absolutely dominated for the first twenty minutes but then rebound to win the next three and steal one on enemy ice. After the first I looked at my wife and told her the Bruins were going to win simply because the Hawks had to be talking to themselves only being up 1-0 after a 19-4 shot edge.

This is one hell of a series already. Just thankful I only have to wait two days for game 3. Going to bed a happy fan tonight.

Gotta say that every period of every game thus far has been outstanding and that first period was just as good.

Bruins had the better chances especially being shorthanded, but Crawford has been solid. Hawks look a bit dopey to me.

That was a one weird warm up. He probably pulled something while taking a shot while Chara slipped dangerously into one of his mates at the same time and doesn't look 100%.

That second goal was a crusher.

I am having a hard time seeing a comeback here but FAR stranger things have happened many many times over...

Play the full 60 boys.

It's becoming clear that the Hawks can't match Boston intensity. If it wasn't for Crawford the last 2 games would of been blow outs. They just make too many stupid mistakes in their own end. Frustrating to watch, this team thinks they can just turn it on and it may of worked most of the year but it won't work against Boston.

BOS is hard at their forecheck every time they get a chance to pounce on a Hawk as it happened in the first goal. Also the visitors are not dong too well in the face off circle having to constantly chase for the puck which of course Hossa is a key part of.

Hawks seem done for the night and maybe the series.

Not sure how they got this far with Toews/Kane sleepwalking most of the playoffs.

Maybe Rask is in their heads. That one good chance Kane had was so weak.
