DB, do you think that the Knicks pose the biggest threat to the Heat?

True. But I'm not just going to watch the Knicks. Plan to have games on many nights, especially late-night viewing of West Coast matchups.dbdynsty25 wrote:It helps when you're team is pretty good eh?pk500 wrote:This is a first for me: I'm relishing the NBA Playoffs more than the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year.

Biggest...no. That would be NJ, just based on how they matchup. Both are significant threats tho. But that's it...those two teams are the only ones with a snowballs chance in hell in the East. In the west, the Thunder, Spurs (if healthy, a big IF), Clippers and Grizzlies could pose problems. The rest...no chance.Rodster wrote:DB, do you think that the Knicks pose the biggest threat to the Heat?

If NBA is so popular, why is there only a 2-year old thread?

Someone should alert David Stern that a sports videogame forum has a lack of NBA buzz...wco81 wrote:If NBA is so popular, why is there only a 2-year old thread?

Pretty much see a Miami v OKC final (Miami wins), BUUUUT if I was to go off the board, I could talk myself into Miami vs Denver (still Miami on top). Denver's court is just such an asskicker, it could get them into the WCF at least.

You'd be in pretty good shape had Gallanari been healthy, but as is, I think they are going to fall short of the WCFs. Isn't Faried hobbled as well? Not a good sign in Denver. I like the thinking tho.greggsand wrote:Pretty much see a Miami v OKC final (Miami wins), BUUUUT if I was to go off the board, I could talk myself into Miami vs Denver (still Miami on top). I was just about to say Denver without Gallo isn't the same team ...

Finally some decent playoff games last night. Those were both fantastic games.

Well Miami's road to the ring just got a bit easier (potentially). Westbrook out for a while with a meniscus tear and the surgery to repair it. Ouch.

Knicks Celtics game one was decent. Game 2 not as exciting, but good for Knicks fans. Expecting a better game from Boston at home tonight.dbdynsty25 wrote:Finally some decent playoff games last night. Those were both fantastic games.

That Nets-Bulls game was pretty amazing. Great comeback by the Nets, followed by a stretch of basketball retarditry by them at the end that let the Bulls tie it up courtesy of Nate Robinson's NBA Jam shooting. I know it doesn't matter as the Bulls won't beat the Heat, but it was encouraging to see them fight back after blowing the game and playing like ass in the second half.

Wow talk about a ridiculous rumor courtesy of Yahoo Sports:
"Following early playoff exits for both teams, reports are now surfacing that the Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics may be discussing a blockbuster deal.
In the rumored trade, which can be found here, the Celtics would receive Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Caron Butler and Eric Bledsoe, with the Clippers getting Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and even head coach Doc Rivers in return. "

That's hilarious because it was a joke said on Bill Simmons' podcast and they are running with it, lol. It's not true, settle down.Rodster wrote:Wow talk about a ridiculous rumor courtesy of Yahoo Sports:
