Let's hope not. Let the alarms blare! :)

More in regards to Gamecenter.

Things cleared up last night and xbox LIVE, laptop and iphone were good. I was shocked at the quality I got on my iphone. Laptop and xbox live streams were good too. If all things work as advertised it's a great deal for $50. It wasn't until this morning though that I found the best feature of all.. Condensed replays. Really??? I watched all of yesterdays games in what felt like 90 minutes. My morning coffee has a new wingman!

Good to hear, FIFA. I'm leaning hard toward Gamecenter this year, especially if Center Ice lacks regular HD feeds for the Oil. I'll check during the two-week free trial for both and then decide.

I'm Paul, and I'm a hockey lemming. :)

Anyone else try NHL Gamecenter Live on Xbox 360? I read there were problems with access on Opening Weekend.

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger either on Gamecenter Live or Center Ice for $49.99. Seeking more feedback on GCL on XBL before I decide.

Thanks.

A W in the shootout! Tarasenko with another goal and two assists.

Great, great start for the Blues. Nashville is good, and beating them in their home opener is huge. Winning their first shootout is even bigger, after last year's debacle of shootout woes.

If they stay healthy, I think this team is built to roll in the short season with less days off.

Any news on A Mac? He took a good one to the chin.

We will see how we do tonight vs the Blackhawks - we might be a bit flat footed tonight and Chicago is another very good team.

That was sweet.

Got the new Redwings theme song, so they can retire "Don't Stop Believin'."

That was brutal to watch.

As a Red Wings fan that was probably the worst game that I have ever seen. They redeemed themselves somewhat with a win Monday night over the Blue Jackets.

The Wings are definitely in a rebuilding mode (especially losing Lidstrom to retirement) but with an excellent farm team and scouting system they should be back on top in the next couple years.

Here's some more Gamecenter feedback.

I'm still very happy with my purchase and am using laptop, iphone and 360. Opening night was certainly an issue but since then it's been perfect on my phone, great on the laptop and really good on the 360 as well. I've used it every night and every morning since saturday and the only issues i've had since opening night is the occasional, stutter or buffer.

Canucks avenged their ugly loss on opening night a week ago by dumping the Ducks in their opener with a solid 5-0 win. Schneider got the SO and erased his bad start against the same Ducks last Saturday.

Just hoping that the missing second line led by R. Kesler gets healthy soon.

The Hawks needed that strong start because eventually their lack of depth is gonna be their downfall when it counts.

If anyone picked Zack Kassian to be tied for second in the NHL in goals after a week, please send me your picks for the next Powerball drawing.

Also, I dig Yakupov and Justin Schultz for the Oil. And Tarasenko is a beast in St. Louis. But I would love to see Cory Conacher of Tampa Bay continue on his smoldering scoring pace and lift the Calder from all three of those guys. Conacher started this season in Syracuse. Plus he's only 5-8, 179.

What is it with Tampa and big little men? Conacher looks like the second coming of Marty St. Louis!

Ok, here it goes...9,22,33...A pleasant surprise to say the least but a lot has to do with the Twins as well.

The trade with C. Hodgson is starting to show dividends.

Big season on tap for Vanek? He looked really impressive against the Flyers last week, and an even more impressive 5 point night for him last night against the Bruins. 15 points in 6 games 8O
