Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
The real question is why the safety wasn't standing on the goal line. You tackle Jones in the field of play and no way you get the entire team 70 yards down field in the 30 seconds and get a play off. Just a stupid alignment made even more dumb by the horrible angle taken. I blame the coaches more than the safety.Danimal wrote:Exactly that game is a lock despite Manning not playing his best game. I'd be willing to bet half the guys on this forum could of knocked that pass down. That was the worst defense I have ever seen. Aside from that you need one first down and you run it 3 times into the line, for fucks sake your defense was horrible what game was Fox watching.XXXIV wrote:Manning had a win but for one of the greatest failures of the prevent defense in history.
Then 31 seconds on the 20, 2 time outs and a kicker who has booted close to 60 yarders before and you take a knee. I've never seen a team give a game away worse than I did tonight. I wonder if the Broncos secondary had a bet in and just cleaned up.

Fox gave away a super bowl with a terrible decision to go for two why not a playoff game with a shitty prevent?

Oh I don't disagree with you for a second but he actually recovered and then still failed to make the play. It looked like a pop warner play.dbdynsty25 wrote:The real question is why the safety wasn't standing on the goal line. Oh and the only reason I care is I would of won close to $5000 dollars if the Broncos had won the GD Superbowl.

Yes, God forbid that someone can change their tune based upon new results.....the Texans did win last week when I thought they were one and done. Hopwever, if they play TODAY like they did last week, they will not win today. What happened in Denver CAN happen in Foxboro today, but I still do not think the Texans WILL win, but I am not ruling out the fact they CAN win. Or do you just want to sit there and take cheap shots from the nickel bleachers.....dbdynsty25 wrote:Wow your tune changed quick in this thread. At least I don't go "Oliver Stone" during and after every game claiming Goodell and the referees conspire to throw every game that is played......if you want to make it personal, take it to PM's, otherwise knock it off. One "db" is more than this thread needs.....XXXIV wrote:he played in the NFL and you did NOT!!!!!

Thanks!
Joe Flacco showed his critics (me for one) that he can make the big plays and Kaepernick was for sure the real deal.
We are one step closer and, like last year, one victory per brother away from the Harbaugh Bowl.

Can't imagine the Denver fans are taking that loss well. Some very conservative decisions near the end, along with that inexplicable f*ckup in the secondary at the end of regulation sealed their fate.
Props to the Ravens for going into Denver and pulling out the win.
Think the only thing worse than Denver's secondary yesterday was Green Bay's team defense - yikes!

The deification of Ray Lewis pisses me off to no end. One of the five greatest middle linebackers of all time, along with Butkus, Curtis, Lambert and Singletary -- absolutely zero debate there.Rodster wrote:QFT !pk500 wrote:The Murderer still had plenty of life in him, too, with 17 tackles.
But the media narrative is turning Lewis into this inspirational elder figure that all Americans and kids should admire or even revere. Never forget: The dude was an accomplice to two murders who walked only because he had good lawyers and snitched on his companions.
America is all about second chances. But that maxim should not apply to murder.

Heck of a first half by the Falcons.
I was expecting a lot more from the Seahawks. Maybe in the second half?

Re: NFL Season 2012-2013
They haven't stopped Atlanta except the one interception.
Falcons just scored again on a long, clock-eating drive. As vaunted as their defense is, if RG3 doesn't get injured, they probably don't shut down the Redskins after going down 14-0.
Looks like they can't stop the Falcons today.

Last week as the game wore on they looked stronger and stronger. Whether RG3 was injured or not, they were a superior team especially in the second half where the D played very strong.wco81 wrote:They haven't stopped Atlanta except the one interception.

I don't see that happening today.

Now these are the playoff Falcons I know.
What a throw by Ryan. WOW. What an idiot.
Now a Hawks TD.
Oh oh Atlanta.
I loves playoff foosball.
