Any good deals on the Premium edition anywhere at the moment? I like the enthusiasm here, may be swept in!

If I get swept in too, is the Premium edition what I need to join in the fun?

Yes. Because a lot of the maps/modes that are played now are included in the Premium edition. You can always just upgrade a normal version of BF3 to premium from the market if you already have that. But if you're buying outright, get the Premium version. Cheaper that way.

What's the plan for the weekend guys? It would be fun to get one big night either tonight or Saturday with as many guys as possible.

I'm available both nights.

I got into a great conquest match on Wednesday night on Operation Metro. Brutal firefight at the middle control point. We lost it early on and were trailing badly, but came back with some good teamwork to barely win the match by a couple of tickets. So glad I picked this up again.

I planned on playing some BF3 tonight so I will join you all. Are you guys playing normal mode or Hardcore?

Typically play normal, but with the server we can try anything. I'd also really like to try a round or two of Infantry only on an appropriately sized map.

I'll be on tonight after band practice, in usual post-jam mental form. :)

John will be there, too. Never forget John. :)

I'll be on again tonight probably later on. Hoping we can get some Conquest games going as I haven't crashed a chopper in a few days... :)

I'll be around this evening. I have my faculty Christmas party tomorrow so I probably won't be around. If I am I'll be in PK post band practice form :)

Good times last night fellas. I actually had some good numbers in a few CQ matches. Hell, if it wasn't for Macca I'd have been damn near adequate!

Yes. If it wasn't for Macca...

I actually shot him a couple of times in the same round... I then celebrated by drinking heavy for the next 3 rounds. I was his b%tch after that though :)

I wanted to finally join in the fun last night after a couple games of hockey with Vader and Jimmy, but I just plain fell asleep on the couch. I hope to hop on tonight and get in on some action.

When I was downloading all the patches and map packs and such I noticed the most recent accomplishment I registered to battlenet was some 280 days ago or something. Hard to believe. It's been a long time since I've played this game.

Was a lot of fun last night, hopefully we can get more Conquest on the big maps but even Conquest on the CQ maps is still a lot of fun.

My highlight of the night was seeing Rob creep around a corner and then watching in horror as Terry/John Rambo appears out of nowhere, knifes Rob, then shots me as I'm panicking and firing wildly! lol

I had the gayest score of all last night -- led my team on points in Conquest for one round despite having just one kill. I'm a flag-hopping POS. :)

Last night reminded me of why I don't like the COD games--and the CQ mode in this one. You can't run 5 feet without getting slaughtered when you start out. I'm still wondering "is that a pers..." and I'm dead. You spawn, walk a bit, and you're dead. You try to follow somebody around, and you're dead. Eventually I just started mashing everything on my controller, but it was almost exactly like COD games to me. I liked the big, open feel of BF3. Last night as definitely not it.
