Whoa -- that is an all-you-can-eat buffet of phenomenal. Great find. Thanks for sharing.

For f*** sake I had to download an Xbox update, then a BF 3 update. No a 1.79 gig BF3 update in game.

I assume I need to download all this dlc as well. I may not be playing tonight at this rate.

The DLC totals around 7 gigs, from what I remember. See you tomorrow night. :)

Good games tonight, guys. Sorry about the no voice chat - my daughter woke up and then fell asleep next to me on the couch. I will not be so quiet next time. :)

I still think Close Quarters is insanity but did have fun running after Rob frantically throwing med packs at him while he mowed down the other team.

CQ is frantic. Add in the fact that I'm just not that good and its a meat grinder. I still have my moments where I border on adequate. Still a fun mode.

Scrapmetal is far and away my favorite CQ map. I had a couple 3x kills in that round, which makes the pain of some of the others much easier to handle.

I actually kind of enjoyed the CQ matches.. Way more than I thought I would. It would have been more enjoyable with about 500 fewer tickets in play :)

I only got in the one Armored Kill map and I had a good time mainly because I dominated with a tank for a good 15 minutes. Show down 2 helicopters and about 4 other tanks. Those maps are huge and probably better on the PC which supports more players in a match.

Maybes its me but the match seemed to take forever. I looked up one time and both sides had 600+ tickets left, I don't recall matches being that long before.

That was a clusterf*ck. 99% of the servers are private now, so they have all manner of odd rules. Many play with 200-400% tickets. It was worse because we were playing 8v8 on a map that should be no less than 16v16. I only stuck around because it was my last match of the night.

There are a ton of variable to be cognizant of when picking the servers now. I'm going to try to use DICE servers whenever possible, but that's not always an option...especially for the CQ maps.

Yes it felt really sparse especially coming from Planetside 2 where there are more people involved in a fire fight than there are on a BF3 server.

I still had fun and haven't really touched any of the new modes.

If you like Armored Kill on the console and still play the PC version of BF3 - AK on the PC is phenominal. I bought Premium for the 360, but still bought the Armored Kill expansion alone for the PC and it's incredible - 64 players and they expand the maps (most have 7-8 capture points).

That said, you get a full room on the 360 and it's still so, so much fun (you also get to hear PK swearing which is a console exclusive).

Also just realized that since we're all 'Premium' 'members' we get access to the next expansion (Aftermath) a bit early - we get it on Dec 4th!!

Fellas.

I say we rent us a server. It's $25/month and then we can play our way all the time and not have to worry about all the server BS. Don't we at least deserve our own sandbox? :)

Even if I don't get a chance to play THAT much with the new kid and all, I'm down to chip in. Someone gonna collect money via paypal or something? Or should we just each rent it for a month or whatever on a rotating basis?

If we can do the rental month by month I'll rent one tonight and post the info. I believe you can set a VIP list and those on it skip to the front of the queue when joining - I'll just add everyone's gamer tags to that list.

I'll be home from work by 9pm EST. Will post the info soon after.

You're all good men. I'll even pry open my tight ass cheeks a crack and contribute to server costs when it's my turn.

Yeah, but it's all just so we can feel better about ourselves and our collective lack of skills...
