Ed Reed has been banned 1 game by the NFL for his hit on Sunday night and repeatedly ignoring the rules for player safety.

I think we should just strap flags on these guys at this point and call it a day.

Amazing how quite a fan base gets during a shalacking.

Hey at least no one is saying Jason Cambell is the QB of the future like Tannehill. You guys are lucky.

Wasn't the point of signing Jason Campbell so the Bears didn't have to deal with Caleb Hanie as a backup? Caleb never put up numbers like that. Wow.

I've been saying for weeks the offense is offensive I think DB you told me last week vs the Texans not to read too much into it. I've watched 10 games now of the same crappy offense with just a new guy in charge.

I can't say if Campbell is good or bad because our O-Line is probably the worst in the history of the NFL. All I can tell you is he can take a hit.

I've never seen guys get blown up like that on the line in an NFL game like I did tonight. I swore it was like watching a college team play vs a pop warner offensive line. The Bears will make the playoffs because they can pull out 3 more wins but their offense isn't any better this year than it was last year.

There will be the usual excuses this week like Cutler being gone, or some other nonsense. Webb will take the boat load of the bad press when in fact it was Carimi that looked like a chew toy.

Defensively it was a bad game but that has a lot to do with coaching. The 49ers pulled out the whole playbook tonight and the Bears weren't ready. Just out coached plain and simple on that aspect.

Really not much to say, I told my wife before the game the Bears would get beat like a drum tonight so hard to get real upset when I knew it was coming.

The real fun will start when they lose to the Vikings next week.

If anything, last night was another opportunity for the nation to see how f*cking bad our O' line is and understand how tough and talented Jay Cutler must be to even have the slightest bit of success against those odds.

Seriously, what would this team be like with a top 5 NFL O' line...!?!?

Only took 10 games in Chicago...at least Miami took him until after he signed his extension then got stabbed by his wife. So progress in Chicago!

There's not much you can say after a team beats the living hell out of another one the way San Fran did. I do think the Bears D just had a bad night, but the offense is obviously a mess. The o-line is a disaster at every position -- players who aren't getting beat are making costly penalities. I found myself hoping Campbell would stay down just so he wouldn't have to keep getting pummeled by the Niners front seven.

The key is going to be how they respond against the Vikings. If the defense has another bad game, this season will go down the tubes quickly.

I wasnt at all surprised by the the Bears offense. I think they were ranked something like #28 going into that game with a healthy Cutler and playing against average to bad defenses. So getting smacked down by a great defense was the expected.
The defense. That would worry me. They got shoved around and looked old and slow in the process...Like Brando said it was probably just a bad night but with that ofense they cannot afford a bad quarter let alone a bad night.

Bears kick the crap out of the Vikings like I think that they will and all will be forgotten.

I'm not worried about the Bears D after that game Frankly San Fran pulled out plays they haven't run all year and were aggressive with a QB no one thought they would be. It was poor coaching and not being prepared more than anything else. I think it shows a few things.

1. Harbaughs ego knows no bounds. I'm not sure going to the depths of your play book and pulling out all of these plays for a week 11 game was even needed. I would of saved some bullets for the playoffs.

2. Lovie Smith is incapable of adjusting. I think Bears fans already know this from the Carolina play off game a while back, or his sticking with coaches and hiring friends. The Bears are good at what they do but if you out scheme them they don't have the ability to adjust and you get what happened Monday night.

Finally name me a team this season who hasn't had a stinker of a game. 49ers lost to the Vikings and tied the Rams. Texans they squeaked by the Jags and got the doors blown off by the Packers. Giants, Packers, Falcons they have all had at least one bad game.

The Bears issues have been and will continue to be the Offensive Line. Its fools gold to think this line can do anything and by the time they rebuild it the Defense will finally really be old and done. Hell one of their guards just left the team today for personal reasons. I mean just up and left, whats that say?

Good points Dan.

They bring up other questions. Will Lovie Smith be replaced before the playoffs or change his coaching style? :P

Its not the aging D you should be worried about its the remainder of Lovie's tenure.

The Bears have faced three serious super bowl contenders this season and are 0-3. After the inept offensive line, the head coach does seem to be the weakest link.

Harbaugh has come out with aggressive game plans before, when opponents loaded up against the run. But in those cases it was looking for mismatches with Vernon Davis, because of Alex Smith's limitations throwing outside routes to WRs.

Actually, how he's developed Kapernick and will continue to develop him is really the test of Harbaugh and his staff. There were questions about him last year, some saying his success was all due to Andrew Luck. (Obviously he left a strong program at Stanford)

But he has gotten more out of Smith and the rest of the roster than the previous staffs, which squandered a lot of high draft picks.

Harbaugh may really earn his bones if he can make Kapernick, who ran a spread offense in college, into a good NFL QB, one who can do more than being a game manager.

Wow the TD would have been reviewed if Schwartz had not thrown the challenge flag. Good thing XXXIV is not a Lions fan. :)

Not that I care because its the Lions but I never knew that was a rule about challenging a play like that.

Just so you guys can have a sense of how amazing RGIII is for us:

Redskins are 0-6 all time on Thanksgiving against Dallas, and the last time we've won on Thanksgiving was in 1973 at Detroit.

Here's hoping we can hang on to this lead and not piss it away.

Gotta give credit to Lovie, Cutler and the Bears. Though not unexpected, a great bounce back after the last two weeks. Beat the crap out of the Vikings and all is forgotten. The playoff train is rolling.
As for the Vikings. Thanks for playing.

How bout them Dolphins? Pete Carroll you annoy.

Steelers not so much offense without Ben. Nice win for the Browns.

Falcons pull it out in Tampa. I kinda thought the Bucs would take them down.

Broncos not pretty but they are on track for the Big one.

Indy keeps beating the worse teams.

Bengals easy over the Raiders as are the yuck of the day so far...Now waiting for the Rams to take away that top spot.

When I turn the ball over 8 times with the Steelers in Madden like the real team did today against the Browns I can now truly say that if it is in the game, it's in the game. :P

Not so fast my friend!

Bradford throws the INT! Mikell takes a stupid penalty and these Rams never fail to put me in a bad mood!

I was going to thank the Cards qb Ryan Lindley but your take is FAR more appropriate.

Two pick six For the man of the hour...Janoris Jenkins.

Jackson had a solid game too! Beef up this OL because it's apparent Bradford needs all the time he can get to stand back there!
