Then right before half they have another return called back on a bs call. Was such a sweet TD. Shameful. Its exhausting to watch this stuff.
2nd most penalties in the league.. just horrible.
Once again on Fisher.
I do feel a little bad for picking on the mentally handicapped as he is clearly a victim of far too many blows to the head but he is nauseating to even look at at this point.

Hate on Fisher all you want, but the fact of the matter is, we have been run like a high school team for so many seasons. We are the youngest team in the league and hopefully it only gets better from here. Could be worse, we could be Chiefs fans!

Its not about hating. Its about losing. We can dress the s*** up any way we want but getting crushed at home by a terrible team like the Jets is what it is. Getting crushed at home by a terrible team
I havent given up on the brain damaged asshole yet. Give wins and all is well. Keep failing on a biblical level and you will get the abuse you DESERVE.
Respect and ass kissing are earned they are NOT be just given away to any pretentious asshole like they are halloween candy.
The fact is this f*** has as of today given nothing of any real value.

Correction.....Houston is the youngest team in the league according to ESPN. And the Texans somehow found yet another way to win due to Matt Schaub (527 yards passing - tied for 2nd most in NFL history) and Andre Johnson (273 yards receiving - most in Texans history and Top Ten in NFL history).....the Texans defense took the day off....
Pretty impressive move by the Jags coach when trying to build a team in shambles going for it on 4th and 10 in OT from midfield. You don't make that you give the win to the Texans. I'm not sure how other teams will like the call but I thought it was a good move.

I thought it was ballsy too. Man looking out for HIS team.

Maybe I'm not clear on the new ot rules, but didn't they pretty much have to go for it. After the texans got the field goal didn't the jags have to score at least a fg or game was over?

Not sure what you're looking at, but the Rams are indeed the youngest team in the NFL, followed by the Eagles. The Texans are 22nd I believe?

I was watching a show on ESPN. It seems they were misleading with the context of how they characterized the age of the Texans or I missed something. I sure hope they weren't referring to the age of the franchise instead of the average age of the players as I have looked at other sites and I see you are correct. My bad.

You're clear on the rules just not the game situation. The Texans had not gotten a field goal they had punted., They gave the ball back and the Texans hit a bubble screen to Johnson for the win. So no they didn't need to go for it there.

Could mean a given team had more rookies or second players make the roster. But come next year, those players may not survive the roster cuts.
Steelers have had a lot of older starters the past couple of seasons. People have been predicting their decline but before Rothlisberger's injury, they were right on course.

The Texans did not punt in OT. Schaub was intercepted on the drive following the Jags field goal. Neither team punted in OT.

You're right I forgot the circumstances I was watching 3 games at the time. Regardless how does that change my point? The Texans had a possession. So they could of lost by a field goal or a TD. The Jags were not forced to score a touchdown or go for it on 4th and 10 from midfield. The could of punted the ball.
He was saying the Texans got a field goal so the Jags were forced to go for the TD and honestly that is not even true. If the Texans had gotten a field goal the Jags could of kicked the field goal and tied the game causing sudden death for the rest of the period.
The rule only states both teams gets a possession unless the first team scores a touch down.
Not sure what your post does to clarify the rule for the OP, just felt like calling me out on a minor detail?

Good Lord danimal....all I did was correct one mistake in your post. Any other reason for trying to start something that does not need to be started? Really uncalled for.....
I am trying to figure out how Jacksonville went Air Coryell on the Texans while the Bears managed only six points. Makes the already shaky Chicago offense look abyssmal.
Was also very disappointed that there was not a coaching fistfight on the Detroit sideline. That would have been perfect.

Well in that case thank you for pointing out my mistake that it was an interception and not a punt that caused the change of possession. That was a non-critical detail in my explaining the issue to the person who asked about the rule. If you hadn't pointed it out no one would have known that it altered my explanation in absolutely no way what so ever.
I feel honored that you scrutinize my posts as such a level and am comforted by the fact you want me to be so factually correct that a minor detail that has no baring on the conversation requires your attention. I only hope the others of this fine community can benefit from your attention to detail and fact checking in this and other threads.
Carry on sir and kudos to you.

God forbid someone correct a small fact in one of YOUR posts. I actually corrected Mizzourah on a post of his and subsequently I was wrong. Instead of responding with a sarcasm-laced response as you have done, he politely asked me to check my facts which I did. I then admitted I was wrong and the issue was resolved without further discussion. Too bad you couldn't do the same. I'm sorry you harbor so much hatred towards me personally, but that is all on you. I don't like nor dislike you and my response to you had no attitude towards you whatsoever. Kudos to you Dan for perpetuating your hatred of me. I'm sure everyone else here is so happy to see you call me out in public for NO REASON.....congratulations in making a mountain out of a molehill......
