So will there be any DSP Horizon going on tonight? I seem to keep missing the sweet spot, either getting online too early or too late. I hope to be logged on sometime after 10:00pm EST.
On a side note, have you all done any of the co-op Free Roam challenges? I was unaware of these but it appears you can get a lot of credits by doing them.
I know, I was checking last night like a crack addict looking for anybody on. Never saw anybody in together, so I gave up. I had no idea there were co-op challenges, though.
I may be out. My bandmates just texted me, and we may do an impromptu late-night jam tonight. Love XBL gaming with you cats, but music trumps all other hobbies!
Someone else should start a room if I'm not on at 11. Thanks.

GREAT fun tonight, boys. Cat and Mouse was a fantastic revelation.
And we had a full room of eight DSP cats! When is the last time that's happened three weeks after a game was released? Probably Battlefield 3. Sorry we had no spots for you, Boom. Next time!
Forza Horizon has been carved on my gaming Mount Rushmore. It's one of the finest racing console games I've ever played. Hell, it's one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, period. Horizon becomes more fun every time we play it. And as Terry said, we're just scratching the surface of what this game offers.
Magic.

Meh.
I mean, It's okay, but there is no way it can hold up to the upcoming release of 'Woodcraft -Two Round Holes (Who needs the pegs?)' by the incredible team of Guðlaug Hafliðadóttir and Steinunn Hermannsson-Jones.

Cat and Mouse was an absolute BLAST last night! It's amazing how deep the modes get the more you play them. At first we're all lost...I knew how it worked, but didn't know how to execute it. By the third race or so, we were bangin'. Choosing whether to try to stop the other mouse, or block for your mouse, or take out the other blockers, etc...constantly juggling the biggest need is amazing. One of the races I was molesting PK as the red mouse somethin' fierce, and chose to go down the road and help out my mouse. Instead, we all ended up laughing our asses off and wrecking nonstop, and somehow PK snuck through and won the race for his team. I should have kept harrassing him, damn it!
And being the mouse...damn is that fun. Seeing guys flying up on your bumper, pulling an E-brake move to get out of the way, watch them slam into guard rails and spin out. I was howling the whole time. I loved Teals "It's like rednecks catching a greased pig!" comment. I don't know what other modes there are, but 3 of the 4 I've played have been absolute gold.

Absolutely! Nice to have another full DSP room again with two fantastic modes in Infected and Cat and Mouse, along with great point-to-point and circuit racing.
As I said last night, picking a mode in this game resembles choosing a lap dance with three strippers or four strippers. All pure bliss.

Thanks for bringing me into the fold so to speak. I had a blast even though I wasn't competitive. I think that is what I liked most about this game. In Cat & Mouse I felt very useful, I was able to run blacking for the mouse in a few races and wreck havoc in others.
Infected was fun as well too except when I started as infected and caught no one. I have to blame my eye condition here, I can't see the mini map and look where I am going at the same time with my shitty peripheral vision plus it is hard for me to see those gray circles.
Goliath was fun as well but would prefer to do that when my wheel and pedals are hooked up. I couldn't feel my right finger from jamming the gas after the 2nd race.

Now there's a problem we haven't had in about 10 years.
I'm surprised to hear only 8 can fit in a room in this game. Lame. I guess it's better than the six the old Forza used to have, but it's lame especially compared to the 16 (with AI to fill the field of 24) possible in Codies' F1 games.
I'd love to join you guys sometime but I don't know when I'll be able to until this movie is over.
