There are no saved replays, which is just an absolute crying shame, IMO. I'd pay to see some of the Dukes of Hazard $hit that goes down in Infected.

Not sure, but I just learned that it includes a first gen Nissan 240SX. That was the first car I bought after graduating college. Mine was a 1990, not a 1994 like we're getting in the game, but close enough!! 8)

Sorry fellas, I could hear you all but the freaking game would not allow me into the lobby. Reset the router, same NAT configurations as I joined you guys many times but for some odd reason it would not allow me to join in. Same thing happened to me with Terry with NHL.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. And yet you've raced with us periodically in Forza, too. Missed a hell of a night. Good cherry-poppin' for Vader, who damn near made level 10 in his first session. Plenty of memorable moments in tonight's session, but trying to hang onto that 71' Cuda with Web breathing down my neck at Goliath had to be a high point of the online sessions for me. I just knew he was going to beat me if he didn't get his "chasing the rabbit" goggles on and make a mistake, but each time he'd close to my bumper, he'd drop back some. On a hard lefter onto the bridge, I took a glance backward and all I saw was a car sliding past the turn in a smoke trail...I can't lie, I let out a HUGE sigh of relief at that point

Good times tonight, fellas. Really glad I've gotten in on the action. A lot of laughs, even if I'm utterly useless.

In that last race I hit two guard rails early on and then a small bush that completely stopped me in my tracks before I finally caught up and passed Rob to get out of last place only to blow it on missing the turn onto the bridge, fun stuff though! :D

No. Not getting a SINGLE PERSON IN FIVE MINUTES OF INFECTED is useless. I seem to recall you placing first in one of those last night!

Yeah, I was my own worst enemy on that one. Granted, the only reason I had a chance at all was due to the great discrepancy in car power, but still, it was fun chasing you and thinking I had a shot at catching you, something that never happens!

Fun racing, as usual!

Some of the wrecks in the good scraps between Lead, Teal and me on Goliath were incredible. I saw cars in my rear-view mirror exploding into pieces and sailing into the air as I exhaled a sinister sigh of relief. :)

OK I need a tip for the damn showcase race against the helicopter. I've run this thing like 15x and just can't get it done. 3-4 of my drives were very, very clean but still no luck.

Anyone beaten this thing and have any ideas?

If I recall that one was pretty tough. Use rewinds or lower the difficulty? I don't think there's any secret to it unfortunately other than 'go fast'.

I play on Medium with auto-tran, braking line, and ABS. (No TCS or rewinds) It took me about 8 tries last night to beat it... You just have to stay clean and fast.

I don't recall that one, so maybe I didn't do it yet. I dunno, I thought I raced all sorts of crap but I don't remember a helicopter. I remember Air Balloons, Airplanes, Biplanes...I'll have to see. And if not, I guess I have an objective for when I'm not in NASCAR: Inside Line tonight.

But as a general tip--when you think you're going fast and clean, and it feels like you're hauling ass with your hair on fire...you're probably not. Take every corner and instead, try to make sure you slow down a tick more on entry and roll through the corner, and get back on the gas faster. You'll be stunned at how much time you shave off each corner when it feels like you're going incredibly slow. But the quicker you get back on the gas, the faster your times drop. If you go in smokin' and sliding and thinking you're all that and a bag of chips, you're losing fractions of a second every corner.

I raced the helicopter once last night and lost on easy, got off to a bad start and never got close the rest of the way. Watched 3 different youtube videos of it and they all showed the helicopter hanging right with the car until the very end, definitely looks like it is going to be one of the hardest races to win.

Yeah, somehow I beat that one the first time I tried it, but like most of the other "crazy" races, the opponent is always close. I didn't think it was harder than the plane one in the beginning of the game. I guess I just got lucky.

Watching that video reminded me I wanted to comment on the cockpit view. In the game, it feels like I'm trying to drive from the back seat with that camera. The only 2 views that feel natural are either the hood view, or the bumper/roof view (with no obstructions). Of course, it doesn't help that I sit about 10 feet away from my TV, but even in that you tube video it's disorienting... I only mention it since so many of you swear by the cockpit cam. I assume you guys sit pretty close to the TV then?

Depends on the car for me. Typically, the more exotic the car, the less real estate there typically is to look through. That makes it feel 'further back' to me. In stuff like the Citroen or the muscle cars, the view is nice.

About 6 to 8 feet away from my set. Always use cockpit view. I must have that "seat of the pants" feeling, and nothing delivers that better than cockpit view.

I'm absolute suckage at this game when not using my wheel. Problem is I don't have a good setup for my wheel and pedals and the GD thing is so uncomfortable sitting in my lap and the pedals moving all over the place.

Bah
