Looking forward to this as well. NBA 2K is my favorite sports game. This weekend I traded in NCAA 13 (since I got Madden) and NBA 2K12 to pre-order NBA 2K13.

I will be running a small Online Association on xbox 360. Been doing this since NBA 2K5. With 2K12 we went through 8 seasons starting with regular rosters. We also had a second OA using the fantasy draft.

We used a 58 game season. We started with about 8 guys (had 3 by the end), so most games were v. CPU and could be simmed. We tried to schedule any user v. user games, but it was pretty casual.

Thanks for the link DB. That is one sweet trailer. I am more pumped for NBA2K13 than usual. Mainly because my Sixers are looking more dangerous this year. Between NHL 13 and this ill be set for the winter.

That trailer is sick and slick. I skipped 2k12 because I didn't have time to play it last fall, so I'm really looking forward to the game. I want to pretend that D Rose has had an AP-style knee resurrection.

I agree with Tony about the college game, would be incredible if we had this engine plus college hoops.

Due to time playing constraints, it looks like I'm going to have to choose between 2k13 and Pro Evolution this year - hardest choice I've had to make in a while!

I have played past NBA 2K games and have really enjoyed them. Each one I have played has been the XBox version.

My son has taken the XBox up to college, so my question is has anyone played the PS3 version of this game? Is it virtually the same? I know sometimes games seem to play better on a certain system.

I do most of my gaming on the PS3. I am not against purchasing another XBox, but would like to avoid if at all possible.

I definitely wouldn't go out and purchase another console just to play it on the Xbox. Over the past couple years, the game has really come in to its own on the PS3. It's probably a little bit cleaner/sharper on the 360 (a little less jaggies) but it's really miniscule now.

I'm sure there will be a demo on the PS3, and you could always find a demo of the game on the 360 at a kiosk.

Yeah, there were some tiny graphical flourishes on the Xbox like the way the court reflects light & some other little touches but really nothing very critical. Looks fine on ps3.

As it should be. Tho it has slightly slipped in my eyes since as of today they have started charging Californians sales tax. Jerks!

Don't blame Amazon fellas, blame the State governments who have cornered Amazon to charge sales tax. Get used to it because i've read it's going to happen nationwide.

I'll still buy from them, can't beat free 2 day shipping.

Who's blaming Amazon? I don't care who's at fault...the advantage of buying something from Amazon tax-free is gone. For bigger purchases, I'd buy from there instead of somewhere like Best Buy/Fry's/etc. because of that fact. Now it's no longer an advantage so why would I buy from there if I can pay the same price from a brick and mortar down the street? You Floridians don't know sh*t about taxes.
