Weird thing going on. Went to play adversarial online, and there were NO ROOMS. Reboot the game, and now there are. Weird.

I've had that happen a few times. Chalk it up to Ubi using old North Korean army surplus servers.

You up for doing some co-op this week? Perhaps tomorrow night?

And I know this has become somewhat of a taboo question on the subject, but...is anyone going after the new Raven Strike DLC? 3 co-op story maps, which supposedly are much larger and unlinear, and are harder, a la old GR. Hell, one map even looks like the old farm map from the original! Oh, and one Guerilla map, to boot.

Looks good. Old-school GR. Too bad it wasn't released as part of the retail version.

I'll pass on this for now. It looks about the same as what I already played. More open maybe? But I saw plenty of channeled paths in the video too. Plus I got no time with Madden leagues starting and Borderlands 2 and NBA 2K13 on the way.

It's just the new norm. PC players have been doing similar for awhile now. BUT yes, it looks like some quite good stuff. Anxious to get my hands on it tomorrow.

PC players also get the best kinds of mods, dude -- the free ones. :)

I got into some great games last night. Playing the objective based game modes with a team that is using the mic and working together is priceless.

Yep. I'm just diving into the Raven Strike missions a little this morning. Wow. The maps are enormous, the paths are many, and there seems to be no one way to complete a mission. While this is fun as single player, these missions in co-op would be awesome, because the AI tends to stay on a path of its own. I'd love to do overwatch on a mission, and get feedback from each player as to how we should tackle the objective at hand.

While I have enjoyed the missions on the disc, THIS feels like Ghost Recon. Especially the first mission, which strips you of any and all future tech. It's just you, your line of sight, guns, and wits. You have night vision, and can 'mark' targets, but only by line of sight. With the wide open nature of the maps, the pucker factor goes up, because you may not see that sniper until a bullet trail goes whizzing past your head...or through it...

Color me impressed. A lot of DLC is fluff; the DLC for GR:FS has been meaty, and meaningful. Great job. Do I wish it came on the disc in the first place? Yeah, but...it didn't, although I will shed no tears over the 10 bucks this cost. It has been well worth it thus far.

Don't know how far into the grooveyard of forgotten favorites this thing has gotten, but there's new DLC dropping next week. More MP maps, and a new Guerilla map:

I traded this (and a few other games) to make room for the Fall gaming glut.

I will probably buy it again when they bring out the fully loaded edition with all the DLC. Or just wait for Rainbow 6.

I'm still playing it; I have found a few guys outside of DSP who play it all the time, love to communicate, and are good. I've thrown in with them, so I'm probably gonna get the DLC. I'm one who appreciates a game company who continues to support their title with new stuff after release. I know it's a money making thing, but I'm not opposed to them making money, so... :D

Same for me. I don't plan on trading it in but I never trade games in.

I just haven't had time for gaming of any kind. I haven't update my website in weeks. barely play anything. My day job is killing me and I have 2 girls in travel soccer and one of them is also playing on a 4th grade feeder basketball team. Poor kid has school, 2 hours of home work, 90 minutes of soccer, 30 minute break than 90 minutes of basketball tonight.

Anyway point being is i will likely pick this up and whenever we are both online just shoot me a message and we can play.

I purchased this game for Xbox 360 but never got into it so I traded it in.

Today I received a free key for the Khyber Strike DLC. First person to send me a PM will get it. :!:
