I got the EA SPORTS season ticket so I can play the game early. Will my saves transfer over when I get my actual game next week?

I think of it this way..... it's $25 to "rent" at least 4 or 5 sports games over the year and see if I want to buy any of them.....

Plus you do get some bonuses, like the discounts on the Tiger courses I used......

Was going to post this same thing. It's worth it if you plan on getting any of the EASports games.

As much money as I waste throughout the year, the EA sports season ticket is one thing that I consider money well spent. Gonna be playing NHL 13 here in a few!!!

You weren't alone brother :). I had to leave right away (working a HS football game) but it will be downloaded by the time I get home.

7.4 GB download on the PS3....that's insane. Madden was only 3.0 and change.

Storming here in St. Charles MO. Gonna head to Moes Southwestern grill for some chow and then I'm going to put NHL 13 thru the ringer the rest of the night! I'm gonna make little Claude Giroux bleed tonight!

For xbox hit the big button on the controller and scroll on the way to the left!

That's weird. I could swear Madden clocked in at 7.4 GB as well on the 360 on SP. Right now NHL on the 360 is showing as 5.89 GB.

First game ended up a 2-0 loss to the Senators. I adjusted the game settings to my liking but the skating is definitely going to take some time to get used to. Could be a long night!

3 games in and I'm 0-3....it's hard to create plays or getting shots off in the slot. You have to work for every inch of ice in this game when you cross the blue line. Your reaction time to be creative and make a play is limited. I haven't messed with any of my team playing styles so maybe that's playing a part in my lack of creativty. Great game though....there is no doubt that this continues to be the best game EA has to offer.

I'm 1-1 so far. First game as always, the Oilers versus the Flames. Got shut out 1-0 by Kipper. Yes, the skating will take a while to get used to!!! Couldn't really generate anything. I did notice that my smaller forwards (which is most of them on the Oil) got pushed off the puck a lot! So that was good to see. Have to rely on speed, as it should be.

I'm horrible with the manual passing though. At the very least, on defaults, the AI only has about a 75% rate, and i hit 50 in my first game :P

Second game I beat the Leafs with the hometown Sens. Greening with two goals, one on the PP from a scramble, and the second on a nice snipe storming down the wing. I really noticed the third line of the Sens pushing around the Leafs with their size and speed. I think I spent the first two minutes of the game in the Leafs zone!

so far in the two games, I've had 4 total penalties. Not bad, but i'll keep my eye and see if it doesn't increase.

So far I'm liking the game a lot. Time for a snack (gotta keep up the fat!) and then probably some more games, maybe try GM mode and see if there's any new bells and whistles....
