Let me apologize in advance for yet another off-topic thread from me today, but since a few of us still enjoy sports games I thought I would pass this on.
No link as they will be up later. It has been confirmed that ESPN NFL will not support 720P

Why would you think we'd care about this when you know everyone here is more concerned about the political ramifications of a potential 'one world' government someday.
Nobody cares about your stupid "video gaming hobby". Grow up and get lost.

They are definately utilizing the power of the Xbox with this one. Going as far as dynamic lighting on the uniforms when games go from day to night. Most everything in the new feature list is covered in the new videos.
As much hope as I had for at least some minor gameplay and graphical changes to NCAA 2005, it looks like it plays the exact way 2004 did. They just tossed in a few features but were kind enough to leave the slowdown in (noticeable in the preview video and mentioned by Hillary). Which after seeing ESPN in all it's graphical brilliance and yet no slow down, has me once again scratching my head. Even Hillary who gushes over NCAA said that once he got the ESPN copy his desire to play NCAA 2005 was dwindling. For me the only thing that will cause me to play NCAA more this year over last, is the addition of XBL. They do mention that when you play an EA game on XBL you will go through MS to begin with to get authorized and then you will be transfered to EA's servers.
Still hoping that ESPN can start working on a college football game for next year.
Between NCAA coming out first and being on XBL, and ESPN's apparent GREATNESS, Madden is in a little bit of trouble on the Xbox. I'm sure it will still sell great, but I know for myself and many others it will work like this:
NCAA 2005 for Collegiate, Madden-style play online and as an experiment with the new EA/XBox partnership.
ESPN for NFL Play with superb graphics and COMPLETE, LIVING, ONLINE LEAGUES.
I see no need for Madden in my library. NCAA gives me the option to play "madden"-style if I so desire.

The screenshot of the VIP system felt quite lacking, but otherwise I'm pretty stoked for this game. Hopefully they'll flesh that idea out a bit more for next year, because its a great one if they implement it well.
I got by on ncaa alone last year, but I'm planning on snagging ncaa and espn for this year. Madden's feature set is more interesting to me this year than last year, but I feel like its a year to late. If they had released this year's features last year, I probably would have picked it up.
They had all the celebs there, Camern Electra, Steve O, Jamie Kennedy, etc.
Looks like they went more extensively than you might have imagined. They participated in vocal sessions and motion-capture sessions for the game. A bigger part of the game than first portrayed.
