Sccop shoot me a game if you want to play some NS Hex. I won't be playing anything else in a few weeks when Summoner Wars comes out so lets try soon if you want.

Is it under your gmail account? I am pumped for Summoner Wars and I've never even played the game.

Mini motor racing, one of my favorite games which I've posts about before, is currently free.

There are actually a lot of holiday weekend sales. Inifinity Blade 2 $6->$3, and EA is having their normal big holiday sale. I'm sure there are others too.

I am getting Burnout CRASH at least ($5->$1).

I got Mass Effect Infiltrator for the iPad and there's a Virtua Tennis game out there for $5. If it plays nearly as good as the Vita version is something I may grab down the road when the price drops down.

I'm reading reports that Virtua Tennis has frame rate issues even on the latest devices. Will likely buy it if they address that issue...

There are so many damn games on sale this weekend, it's best to just keep refreshing the App store...I've seen lists and lists of games that are about to drop in price (like GTA III going down to a buck). Memorial Day weekend is bound to cost me a few bucks on random games that I'll likely never play. :)

Slingshot Racing is REALLY good if you have an iPad... Best new racing game in quite some time IMO.

Anyone interested in a dark, yet fun, iPad game check out "plague inc". Kind of like Risk except you create a plague that destroys the world. Love it.

I also picked up Zombie Ace which is also a lot of fun.

Do you guys find that you have to do the in-app. purchases in these games to get past a certain level of accomplishment?

Obviously the developers depend on enough people buying them so that may shape the design of the games.

Looking forward to getting Siri with iOS6 and checking out the flyover with the new Maps, though some people are reporting that the new Maps doesn't have as much info -- like certain public parks are missing -- as the Google maps.

Most every freemium game you can play without any IAP, but you have to be very patient.

Pocket Planes is a good example. I've been playing it since yesterday, and it starts VERY slow. It gets significantly more interesting when you add a few airports and bigger planes, and you set up hubs and relays to maximize multipliers. Also you constantly have a plane landing to re-route manually.

Actually, I'm not sure if that's the fastest way to make money, but it provides for the most engaging gameplay experience.

I dunno, iOS6 might have finally pushed me to Android (I say "pushed" lightly since I develop for both Android and iOS and like them both just fine). I've waited patiently these last two WWDCs to see something at least hinting past a move towards a grid of icons, but no dice. I actually understand the reasoning behind Apple's decisions on things like multi-tasking, widgets, etc, but iOS is just becoming too stale for me.

I tried to play this game, but something about the graphics just gives me a headache.

A game that I did find pretty fun was Subway Surfers, which is basically Temple Run without the tilting. I can't remember if it's free or $1.

Sounds like you guys are tearing through a lot of these cheap or free games.

Limited shelf life?

I've been playing a lot of the multiplayer ones over and over again.

Picked up 'Stick Tennis' today. Brilliant gameplay, simplistic by just swiping the screen you can control where the ball goes and before you know it, you are immersed in some tough rallies. There are daily challenges and weekly ones where you face real players like Nadal and Djokovic. The women are also in the game, grunting and all and the game is free. Eventually if you really like the game you can buy the GS events for .99 each.

The only downer is that you can't control the amount of games that you may want to play in a set as it forces you to play the entire full set and as you advance, the matches are best of three sets. But overall the games are fun.

Best podcast is Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast. Absolutely love his sinical take on nearly everything. IMO, he is the best comedian going right now.
