You get 40 plus from Rondo and don't win you're in trouble.

So the Heat now need help from the officials too?

No call on Rondo's drive in OT cost the Celts an easy bucket on the other end.

It wasn't even a close call. Blah.

Like when KG whacked Lebron in the head when Rondo got the jump ball? Yeah...happens on both sides man. Rondo needed to hustle his ass back in the play cuz they gave up a wide open dunk on the other end cuz he was too busy bitching to get back on D.

Rondo was unreal last night. NBA Jam-hot. I thought they were going to pull it out when Bron-Bron had that horrid final shot sequence at the end of regulation.

The most exciting thing about that game was Barkley's cowboy boots.

But at least it's a series again.

Fact the C's won last night makes game 2 loss even more painfull.

I feel that loss will prevent the Celtics from winning this series.

Series should be 2-1 C's.

But, it is what it is.

I like how you assume that one foul on Rondo changes an entire series. Yes, it would have given them a slim lead with a min. or two left in overtime, but you do know the other team gets the ball again and they can score again right?

I'm on your side, even though the wife is a Heat fan...I hate the team...hate the attitude, everything. And I think the Celtics are better than anyone gives them credit for, so I'm pulling for them. But as an unbiased fan of the NBA unless it's the Suns, it's hard to listen all the whiney Boston f*cks that scream bloody murder when their pretentious and entitled selves don't get what they feel is coming to them. Its the same reason everyone hates the Red Sox and Patriots...the fans.

Never said that the Rondo non-call changed the series.

It MAY have decided game 2 since it cost the Celtics 2 fts plus an easy fast break dunk in a tie game with about 2 mins in OT.

Truth is, Celtics played better in that game, but somehow lost.

Anywho, D-Wade almost won it 2night, oh-so-close...

Should be 3-1.

Mine was better:
dbdynsty25 wrote:Maul them? There's just something about a Celtics/Heat series that makes me think it's going 7. The Celtics just matchup really well with the Heat and they have always given them hell...so I expect it to be a pretty good series...especially if Bosh misses most of it. Yes, the Heat will ultimately win most likely, but I don't think it's gonna be a sweep or anything.

Good call. Like you said, ultimately, I believe the Heat will win, but the Celts are giving them a series.

How do you think the return of Bosh will affect things? I think if he can pull KG away from the basket it will be huge. No KG at the rim for drives plus I think Miami will rebound better.

The Celts sure could use Perkins now, shoot, even a healthy Chris Wilcox would help. I like Bass offensively but he is not that great on the boards.

Yeah, I want the Celtics to win but it's just because I don't like the Heat. It's rich for any Celtics fan to complain about calls. The Sixers went to the line *two* times in the first half of Game 5 despite driving to the basket constantly....they couldn't build a lead while the Celtics lived at the line to stay in the game and the Sixers got in foul trouble for the second half. You have to play an almost perfect game in Boston to beat them there with all the calls they get.

Amazing comeback by the Celtics. Just clutch to win three in a row. I hope they put Miami away in game 6.

Has there ever been a finals where the two teams were down 2-0 in the conference finals before advancing?

I'm sure there has. That seems to happen all the time especially when they went to the 2-2-1-1-1 format for the games. They always say, it's not a series till someone wins on the road.

Amazing comeback by the Thunder. They showed a lot of poise in winning that series.

All growns up. No way they lose in the finals. Too much firepower and athleticism...regardless of who they play. Very impressed with Brooks and his adjustments as well. I criticized the hell out of him after the first two games and he made the necessary adjustments to contain Parker which was the main reason they were getting sliced inside and out. Gotta give it up for him. Outcoached the master.

Yeah, I really don't see any scenarios where either the Celtics or Heat could beat the Thunder 4 out of 7.

Agree. OK City is super-legit.

There are scenarios...but most of them involve injury, which ALWAYS can happen. Just ask the Suns and their awesome run of luck in the mid 2000s. Ugh.

I appears as though Miami came out a bit motivated this evening. Whoa. Lebron. Never seen him really sack up like this with the exception of that game 5 against Detroit when he was still with the Cavs a few years back.

And this is why losing game 2 will cost the Celtics this series.
