If it's not full, I'm definitely curious enough to try it out. I have enjoyed the co-op I've played so far, but I have yet to try adversarial stuff. If you end up full, somebody more useful can bump me out.

Re: Ghost Recon Tuesday Poker Night
All right, you f*ckers: I got $43 in trade-in at Best Buy, which offers 150 percent trade-in values for May. So I have this game. See you at 10:30 p.m.!

Super psyched for tonight! Just played for about 1.5 hours with a guy I friended from my sessions last week. He had a full squad of 6 and we had a freakin' blast. Seriously, this game IS exactly what I've been waiting for. I still can't believe how awesome the randoms that I have befriended have been.

At that we are usually in the middle of dinner in the west coast. I'll see what the boss says, may come in late.
Re: Ghost Recon Tuesday Poker Night
That. Was. Epic.
from ear to ear, fellas. Hella fun tonight, full room....ahh, it makes me all toasty inside. Loved all that we played, but Seige was the soup du jour, I think. Just some great stuff, all the way around. I agree...THIS is the game we've been waiting for.

Re: Ghost Recon Tuesday Poker Night
This is a TERRIFIC game. Thanks so much for nudging me to buy it. Paying only $21 due to 150 percent trade-in values being granted at Best Buy was nice, but this game is worth full price -- and then some.
Had a ball tonight. Eager to play with you cats again soon!

Does every class have access to the UAV, if not how how do you activate it?

It's an engineer device.10spro wrote:Does every class have access to the UAV, if not how how do you activate it?
In the private games everything is unlocked, so all you have to do is outfit your engineer with it and you're off.

Damn you PK! Damn you! What's this about 150% for trade ins at best buy?pk500 wrote:This is a TERRIFIC game. Thanks so much for nudging me to buy it. Paying only $21 due to 150 percent trade-in values being granted at Best Buy was nice, but this game is worth full price -- and then some.

Re: Ghost Recon Tuesday Poker Night
Seriously great stuff last night gentlemen. Siege is awesome but I don't think we should shy away from the other modes. I think we'd even have a blast with the Conflict mode (their version of Team Deathmatch). It's objective based and the variety is pretty fun actually.
And Zeppo - please pick this one up!

Best Buy is offering 150 percent trade-in values during May, according to the chick who processed my trades. If BB normally give $20 for a trade, you'll get $30 in credit.Zeppo wrote:Damn you PK! Get this game, dude. I'm glad Battlefield 3 was one of my trades yesterday because after playing GR:FS with a full, private DSP room, I have no desire to play BF3 again.

Re: Ghost Recon Tuesday Poker Night
Thought more about last night's fun session, and there's so much to like about this game:
-- True private rooms (Take notes from Ubisoft, you f*cking imbeciles at DICE/EA)
-- All equipment unlocked in private multiplayer rooms
-- A nice variety of maps, even if they're a bit tight. But let's face it: Ubisoft never will make an open-landscape map like the early GR games. That's the unfortunate plague of the MW series.
-- Incredibly intuitive, yet deep, control scheme. As I said last night, if a moron like me can figure it out in 15 minutes, the design is dead-nuts on.
-- Fantastic variety of modes. Siege was EPIC, but I enjoyed Saboteur, too.
-- Excellent, consistent weapon aiming model.
-- High-tech weaponry and battlefield gadgets complement combat rather than dominate it. This was a VERY pleasant surprise.
-- Brilliant cover system. I can't stop gushing about the auto advance to next cover feature, with the yellow circle and upside-down triangle. It's clear Ubisoft stole that system from one of my favorite military games of all time, Full Spectrum Warrior. Imitation truly is the sincerest form of flattery, because the system works great. Using the auto advance to next cover feature forces you to be tactical because you're slowly, methodically moving on the map instead of mimicking Usain Bolt drafted into the Jamaican Army, sprinting full tilt while dodging bullets, as so many people do in BF3 and MW3. Sure, you can go Johnny Rambo if you want, but you're going to die sooner that way.
What a game.
