This is a choke job of epic proportions.
Re: The Beautiful Game Thread, 11/12
Too little too late for Zdeko? Manu just did their thing.
Re: The Beautiful Game Thread, 11/12
SERGIIOOOOOO!!!!! Talk about coming back from the dead.
Re: The Beautiful Game Thread, 11/12
I take full credit for the reverse jinx.
Happy for my fantasy team which had Aguero as captain, and for City fans who didn't deserve to lose a title like that.

Re: The Beautiful Game Thread, 11/12
hahaha holy crap!
I had both games on.
Man U just ended, celebrating, then literally 20 sec later Man City gets the goal to win it all. Amazing 2 goals in extra time to win the champ!
From Choke City to Champ City!

HOLY F*CK. That was one of the most compelling, dramatic 10 minutes of sport I've ever seen.
Congrats to City. No sobriety for DaveT until at least Tuesday.

Re: The Beautiful Game Thread, 11/12
How important was that 6-1 win against their rival? A month ago, City was like 8-9 points away from United until that crucial game which changed their fortune. Yes, it would have been an impossible and unfortunate choke job even with the late tie. What a crazy season, worth waking up early on Mother's day.

That was Dave T doing the dirt kicking dance in the stands
epic. Dzeko should have been on from the start, all those wasted crosses to a horrible twat Tevez im glad he played no part.
Well done City!! I ran round the room on my own my family wondering what all the fuss is about when no one is wearing red

No doubt there will be some 2-3 day benders in Manchester!

Hic - what day is it ? Who am I again ?
Just for those of you who haven't seen it - Sky Sports
Sunderland fans loving it as well
And just to prove how despised Man U really are, a mate of mine is a QPR fan and was in the away end (and he is still a mate, thanks to Mancini Time). He said that as soon as Bolton's game finished and QPR were safe, everyone in their end was willing City to score the winner. Just watch after the kick off following Aguero's goal - not a single QPR player runs for the ball after it is booted aimlessly into City's half.
Just wish I could work out how to put my photos of yesterday's trophy procession on here

Re: The Beautiful Game Thread, 11/12
Was it you who gave Tevez that sign?

Re: The Beautiful Game Thread, 11/12
Not quite sure why City felt the need to apologise to the Scots P*sscan for that sign. After all, he was asked a year or two ago whether City would win the League, and his response was 'Not in my lifetime', so I can only assume he's passed away, and that purple faced visage shambling around spewing bile is actually a zombie - hence Tevez's parting shot was totally accurate.
Just love his latest ones
"City are a hundred years behind us in terms of history" - moronic and desperate, but accurate in one sense...United are all about the past. I'm more concerned with the future.
"Aye, we'll remember Sunderland" - due to the fact that Sunderland fans were cheering City's victory. Have 25 years taught you nothing, Fergie ? EVERYONE f**king hates you and your bunch of arrogant, glory-hunting know-nothing fans.
There are two lots of fans who weren't celebrating though - Spurs (jealousy) and Everton. Not one scrap of love lost with them for a variety of reasons...but for some reason they believed that our owners were originally planning to buy them. No idea what could have swayed them away - perhaps the need to spend years planning and buying a whole new stadium to replace the crumbling rubbish heap that is Goodison ?

Roy got off on the right foot. Named Oxlade-Chamberlain to the squad in part based on the strength of his performance against Milan, "particularly Ambrosini and Pirlo."
Neither of them played in that match. LMFAO
