Great win by Newcastle. Naples summed up Cisse's goal perfectly -- ridiculous. Really sucks that Newcastle can beat Chelsea on the road but can also lose to crappy teams down the final stretch of the season.

I hope Tiote is OK, though.

Ten minutes of stoppage time added in the second half because of that injury. I've only been following English footie for about 12 years, but I can't recall that much added time in a match.

News looks good, and he hopes to be back for the City game.

Just watched the game tonight - those Cisse goals were spectacular.

Indeed. The second goal defied the laws of physics. It was like Sir Isaac Newton had dropped acid or smoked a huge bong hit.

There is no one at Bloomfield Road right now. Friday night and it is the playoffs. Weird.

Ay Yaya Yaya. After his first brilliant goal, Aguero missed a couple of easy ones and City's chances started to open up. Well played and deserving of the win.

This is the kind of "nutmeg" Terry needs to be on the receiving end of, preferably by one of the brothers Ferdinand. Let's kick racism out of football. :)

Holy shite: If that challenge didn't warrant a straight red card, what does? Beheading?

I'm guessing it's because he got ball on that challenge?

Look again: Zokora never touched the ball. Emre toe-poked it past him and then received a Tae Kwon Do kick to the balls.

Emre was a useful little player during his spell with Newcastle.

Oh, sh*t: I'm an idiot. Thrashing my balls off -- pun intended -- in my last day in the home office before heading to Indy to work the 500.

Well played, Mig. Well played! :)

I probably should have mentioned that Zokora's kick was revenge for this incident.

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2885/eur ... acist-slur
"Emre and I came face to face during the match. I'll tell you what he said word for word. He called me: 'A dirty n*****'," Zokora told Lig TV after the match.

"This is the first time in my life something like this has happened to me. Emre has Africans like [Joseph] Yobo and [Moussa] Sow at team-mates - I can't understand why he'd say such a thing.

"We're trying to get on with our jobs. What does the colour of our skin matter? Fans, Fifa, the press are all against racist statements.

"I hope something like this doesn't go unpunished."

My brother calls me after flipping stations and....Holy crap!...I am very late with this but I do NOT follow the league.

I played with this guy on a club and against this guy in high school. I know he was a member of the 94 US national team.

He is now coaching the Fire.

LMAO That you just realized this speaks volumes about Chicago media coverage of the Fire.
