Wouldn't it be cool if you could just use that thing called the interwebs to look up the results? ;)

Well since you are asking, I would love to see a 10:00pm to 10:00pm EDT on the Daily's. We all have completely different schedules and timezones, so my guess is this would not be great for eveyone and since I am bottom of the rankings for our club, don't change anything on my account. My thinking on this for me personally is that I rarely can put in gaming time every night, and when I can it almost always starts after 9:00pm EDT. What moving to 10:00pm would do is give me the opportunity for when I do have a gaming night, I could get in 2 dailys. One prior to 10:00pm and one after 10:00pm. Even an 11:00pm to 11:00pm could work well for me following this thinking. Basically trying to get in the ability to complete two daily's in one gaming session. Again, I completely realize this request does not work well for those in west coast timezones and/or on different work/sleep schdedules, so don't change it on my account.

I like the way the finish times are set now, perfect for night time players on the West Coast such as myself... That being said, I'm not going to pitch a fit if it changes.

This weekly sucked.

Not only did I freeze out once, I was sitting at -13 after the 17th hole of the fricken final round when the tourney timed out on me. I guess I should have checked things more closely, but the message at the top of the screen said I had like 7 hours remaining or something when I began. Must have been lying to me.

Not only that, this whole week I saw lots of things I've seen other people mention before, but had not yet experienced for myself:

*Wind not 'working,' as in having no impact on the shots at all.
*Strange rocket shots that flew past the target spot for no reason at all that I could determine (wind, elevation, overswing)
*that bizarre 'Shoot to the right' path off the tee

It probably only cost me a couple of points, as a -13/-14 wasn't going to win me anything, but it was still the most frustrating week I had with the title so far.

Wouldn't a 10:00pm EDT start still work for a night time west coast player? That would just mean the new daily would start at 7:00pm for a West Coaster as opposed to the current 4:00pm, correct?

I have noticed that both for the weekly and the dailys and have been burned by it as well. In fact, I think it was with the only weekly where I may have actually had made it 3 rounds without freezing. Then it timed out on me in my fourth. Not that I was anything but last, however, it would have been cool to at least complete a weekly. I am currently 0/6 in weeklys due to the freeze bug. Frustrating as hell. I have attempted all weeklys and completed none. I have much better luck with the dailys. Anyway, I don't know what that count down time is when you look at it in the game, but it is definitely not correct.

Yes, this weekly really sucked! I had the strange rocket shots, a couple of the deals where you make it past the bunker, then it places you in the bunker for your next shot, and then one I had never experienced before. I think it was on 17 where you drive over the water. I make it across, but just past the fringe. Game does not tell me out of bounds, or in the water, or anything. Next shot it has placed me back on the other side of the water, but not at the tee, on the bank at a lie that was absolutely impossible to get out of. After the first two attempts at trying to make it across and going straight in the water, I finally aimed the opposite direction, took out the wedge and tried to easily hit it to the fairway. Goes in the water, even though I was facing completely the opposite direction. So I end up at the shot limit and it moves on to 18. The only saving grace was that as it is loading 18, game freezes and round/tournament was over for me. When the game is "on", it is very enjoyable, but the bugs and quirks provide so much frustration. I have only completed like 20 rounds in this game, probably frozen about as many. I am curious if you guys who have played over 100 rounds (200 in 10spro's case) of TW13 have just not experienced the lockups and bugs that seem to plague me.

True, but with the majority of the players on the East coast it's hard to please everyone concerned as you mentioned earlier. There's probably only 3-4 guys on the west side and we have to go with majority. Personally, I prefer the dailies to start a bit earlier but as you said, you ask 25 people and you'll probably get different answers.

I just shot a +4 on the first round at Bethpage. I knew it would be challenging with the grids off but what robbed me of a few shots was the advice of the caddie. I know it's a hit and miss for some, definitely a miss for me as I only use it on the green occasionally but with the gutsy wind I made a few errors by following his advice on 2nd and 3rd shots to the green.

I wish that EA would allow people to finish their rounds. If you're in play already within the finishing hour why punish a player? It happened to me a couple of times on the dailies and it was damn frustrating. Hope they can address it on the next patch, and there's definitely a misinformation on the clock at times.

Wow, at almost the exact time that I read this the Tom Petty song "Saving Grace" came on the radio at work.

I think I'm around 80 rounds and *knocks on wood* have not experienced any lockups. I have an older 360 and do not have it installed to the hard drive (not sure necessarily why...just lazy I guess). I have experienced most of the bugs mentioned though. The quirks are annoying but have evened out for me, although in my +6 round of the tourney I had a quadruple bogey on a wicked slice to behind a tree from the tee on a wide open hole where I barely hit it off center according to the graphic and had properly adjusted for the wind.

Yeah, I have wondered about if there is a magic combination that causes these lockups.

I have a Jasper chipset white Xbox 360 with the Collectors version of the game installed to the hard drive. My network connection is wireless using a 3rd party wireless adapter. I have wondered if that could be the culprit.

I'm trying not to think about how irked I am at completing 71 of 72 holes, and getting a DNF. :P I should have just been chasing Trials times...

I understand the reasons for the strict end period for their online tourneys, I guess, but if you are going to be that strict you need to at least get your 'time remaining' messages correct!

I've had the freeze 3 times, twice early on the front nine, and once *AFTER* hole 18. (That one really sucked) So, not too much, but enough to annoy.

Don, I don't have as many lockups or freezes like you but it does still occur on my slim 360. I do however start the game from the Xbox middle round button and it has lessened a bit the annoying freezes but until they come up with a patch, the problem will be there.

Yes, but I like seeing all the scores already posted when I fire up the game at 9pm.

For the record, I am using the Microsoft adapter and have always started the game from the dashboard.

I also mostly play the game on a white XBox 360 with the Jasper chipset. I have the Collector's Edition installed to the hard drive. This 360 is supplied by an ethernet cable that's connected to my router though.

I have had 7 freezes total, 3 in Live Tournament play and 4 in offline career mode, over a total of 230 rounds. I save my XBox Live profile and my Tiger 13 game saves to a Geek Squad 16 GB thumb drive, so I can play the game on any of my 3 XBox 360's. I do this for all of the games I play regularly.

The "rocket ball" reports are the most trouble phenomenon I'm seeing described now. I haen't experienced that yet. It would certainly freak me out! Oh, and let me reiterate, if I try to launch Tiger 13 from any means, while signed into XBox Live, the system freezes during the Tiger Woods 13 loading screen as soon as the second 'loading progress' dot appears. This has happened every single time I've tried to launch the game while signed into XBL, since the patch.

Based on the feedback on Daily tournament start times, I think I'll just start today's up at the normal time and see if we get a broader sample of inputs for other options. I can always slowly delay the start of the next Daily, one hour at a time if we want to go to something later.

I didn't solicit any feedback over the weekend on another DLC venue for today's Daily, so I won't try to do anything last minute. How about a DLC course for Wednesday? Any thoughts on which DLC course you'd want to see for Wednesday, including none at all?

FWIW

I have the newer xbox slim of whatever it is called on my main 360. I have not installed it to the Hd and I had one freeze and that wasn't even game related I lost my internet.

So knock on wood none for me thus far.

I just booted up my 360 for the first time today and see that DivotMaker did post a -10 in the final round to overtake OrthoStud23 by one shot for the DSPCC Weekly title. I bet this round had a little extra meat on its bones for you, didn't it Tim? :) Congratulations on a good win; that turned out to be a horse race between you and OrthoStud!

Thanks guys, what a great competition these weeklies are....the daily's as well, but the weeklies with 4 rounds somehow make it even more fun. Really great shooting Ortho, Hogz, LF, Vader, etc....!

I was pumped after nine holes as I was sitting at E and really thought I had a chance to post a decent score. Only to completely self destruct on the back and go 8 over. Ugh.

My advice is to go with your instincts instead of using the caddie man.
