That damned wind and rain was playing havoc with me! Started figuring it out a bit, but it was like playing on Andrews.

I saw your score, that's a great comeback. You're right about the greens, they weren't as slick as yesterday and I fared a bit better today too shooting -4 and after 2 rounds I am at -2.

Wanna have a fun adventure? Or should I say a nightmarish CC match? Need to look no further than the Greek Isles. I joined a CC match where the settings were set up like our current club. Tournament level on expert swing, no meter with the grids on. Greens were fast. The eventual winner finished at +4 while I finished some 16 shots behind. If you want a tough challenge while pulling a lot of hair, play this course on your offline play. Talk about having a hard time getting out of a bunker and swimming a lot.

I managed to finish the round before the freeze happened, if I was the winner I certainly would be pissed.

You could not pay me to play one of the utterly ridiculous fantasy courses. They have no business being in a PGA TOUR licensed game.

That being said, I won't be quitting my day job anytime soon to play TW13 professionally....started my round at AAC with a blistering -7 through 7 and was thinking I was going to post a really low score. However, the next 11 holes kicked me in the @ss as I managed 4 birdies the remaining 11 holes and one bogey and double bogey. Hit my approach on the par 5 18th to the fringe behind the pin about 21' away. Hit a great putt for an eagle, but it lipped out and I had to settle for birdie. Can't remember who asked in a previous post if scoring low gets boring......the minute you think you are on your way to a low score, this game has a way of reminding you that this game plays more like the real game of Golf than any previous Tiger for consoles. I am very confident that my -8 will not stay in the lead for very long at all. Have fun with AAC fellas as it is ripe for a low score with those conditions.....

I missed 3 putts that I easily should have made. I needed an eagle on 18 to tie divot, but I was about 40 feet away. I went for it hard and rolled it about 15 feet past. I was fortunate to make that to get me to -7.

Love that course, such a fun place to play!!!

What a difference a day makes! I get up this afternoon (worked the night shift) thinking I'm going to go out and shoot in the low 60's at Royal County Down. I've done fairly well at that course so far in Tiger 13. My woes from yesterday at Scottsdale continue. I couldn't hit a fairway or a green with a hand grenade! Everything's going right and my swing feedback meter looks something like this = "&" when I'm done  Suddenly, Mr. 91% FIR and 84% GIR comes in under 55% in each category in back to back rounds 8O  How I managed a -1 at Royal County Down the way I played is beyond explanation. I was having to try to swing the club inside/out to manage to hit is straight. This is a formula for an even greater disaster eventually... I love this game!

I's with you on this front... I tried playing a Daily at Greek Isles out of some sort of morbid curiosity. I quite after 5 holes and wondered 'what was that!?' I don't get the fantasy courses. I guess it's one of those things that if someone has to explain it, I probably wouldn't get it.

I sort of resent that EA saw fit to bundle 3 fantasy courses in the 11 course pack. I have no problem with offering fantasy courses to those who want them, but please don't cram them down my throat by lumping them in a course pack featuring legitimate PGA Tour courses!

Amen! I hope my recent experiences in my last two rounds help me appreciate a low score if I can ever card another one. The way I'm spraying the ball right now, I'm skeered to tee it up at AAC

It was SO nice playing a course like AAC tonight with no wind... Great change up from some of the crazy conditions and greens we've been dealing with lately. I would have contended too... if it weren't for the swim I took on 10! :)

10s - mighty impressive round of -16 under at the daily. 8O Especially if that was the first time you played that course. Would love to hear about your round, must have hit some great shots. Awesome man!

-16 is an AMAZING score. I know I left 2 shots out there on 2 eagle putts that I missed from under 20 ft but you had to be throwing some serious darts out there!! Congrats on the score.

My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw 10spro's -16 on the board! 8O I'd like to get some more details on this round myself. It goes in the books as one of the top 5 in DSP CC history, IMO!

I thought AAC was the best and most challenging course on Tiger 12. I hadn't played it until last night on Tiger 13. The wind was almost totallly dead when I played my round at ~2:30 AM. The highest wind I saw was 4 mph. I just can't keep the ball in play over the last two days. I have no confidence now when hitting tee or approach shots. This has all happened since I raised my power attribute to 95. I think I'm going to back it down to 93 and see what happens. I had a number of bogeys in my round at AAC, and two three-putt pars to boot

Thanks for the kind words everyone. As you all know, there's no secret in this game. My putter was just 'On Fuego' and I tweeted pretty much every hole. As Leadfoot was saying, the conditions were optimal. No wind, max I saw was 5mph and the green was just perfect for my HSG mentality. 8)

When I eagled on the 12th and went up by one surpassing Ortho, I said to myself: 'This can't be real'. Then the following hole, I think I sunk a 14' birdie that had more curves than Jennifer Lopez and I knew it was my day.

It also helped that I didn't hit anything on the rough and FWIW, I did play the same course offline before I jumped on the CC to learn the course first. I had all the typical tough conditions on, so when I played the real thing it was like 'Hey where the heck is the wind'?

But this is a humbling game. Before any of you boys think that 'This guy got his AHA moment', I must say no way. Maybe for just a day, give me the conditions that I faced on day 1 at the Old White TPC, and I am a wreck. Such is golf IRL, that's why I love this version of TW so much.

Great frighin' round, man!!!

Day 3 at Old White was a mixed bag for me. I was 4 under st the turn and birdied 10. But then it happened. The greens dried up instantly and turned to glass. I couldn't keep any of my approach shots on the green, nothing would hold. I rammed many putts well passed the hole with just the slightest of touch on my putting stroke. 3 or even 4 putted some greens and I think I ended up -1 or even for the round. That's only because I was able to muster a birdie on the last par 3 off of a mishit on the tee box.

Crazy game this is sometimes.

Any chance we can call the weekly now on account of rain…or snow…or locusts…or lightning…anything. Just shot my best two rounds yet. It isn't-45 but that didn't stop me from pumping my fist when the last putt of round 2 fell. If only I hadn't made a quad on one hole in the first round.

Considering the comments about unpredictability and inconsistent round scores, I think the best thing I can say about this game is that I swear at it a lot. I fist pump when making a huge putt, and get animated when I mishit it.

Aka the ideal golf game experience!

Two is not enough:

I guess it's time I weighed in with my tirade about Tiger 13 freezing problems... I've just experienced two freezes trying to get my DSP CC Daily at Sawgrass on the record. The first time I was -1 going to the 5th tee, the screen freezes up and I have to do a reboot. Second time, I'm tied with Tim at -9, watch my pitch make it's way to the 16th green for what looks like it will be a tight shot, and the game stalls with the ball in mid-air! :!: :| :( $%# The crowd's still buzzing but the game's going nowhere. I had to turn the 360 off yet again... that was only Live Tournament freezes #3 and 4 for me, but they would have to happen on the same round.

Gawd I hope they fix this game!

I'm playing this game and am beginning to love this game more and more.

Who's in charge of DSP II? And can I get an invite, someone has to be last. To show my prowess, I shot a blazing +42 on today's daily at Bethpage Black, only 53 shots behind the leader.

I'm not giving up on this game I'm just trying to put it all together for 18 holes. I'll hit 2 or 3 pars in a row then I'll back that up with a 3 then a 5 putt. If real golf is like this then I have just gained more respect for the PGA pros.

Funny thing is widen my CAG was a 36 in putting I nailed a 50ft. Putt. I'm built up to 52 now and still have produced a 4, 5, and a 6 putt. But my approach shots are getting better!

Otherwise, I can't get enough this game.

I was almost hoping for a disconnect towards the end of my round at Sawgrass. The lowlight was three-chipping the green from within 70 yards, oof.

Aristo is the administrator of the DSPII CC. I'm sure he'd be glad to sign you up!

Sounds like you're starting out from scratch, which can be pretty humbling when you're trying to compete in Tournament difficulty rounds from the black tees! Keep building your CAG up through career mode and you'll find the gameplay becomes a lot more manageable. I carried over 75,000 XP (if I recall correctly) from Tiger 12, and that helped a lot with the attribute building of my Tiger 13 CAG.

I just lost an online H2H match against another comparably skilled club member, from another club, by leaving one short (pounding off the huge rock border and back into the water) on #7 at Valhalla. Otherwise, we would have tied after nine.

Just finished a long night of DSP CC golf. -7 on the Daily, and four rounds of -27 golf at the weekly. I know I'm going to burn out on this game at some point, but still having fun....

Made it to 9 holes at the daily at Sawgrass before my 4th overall freeze, couldn't reconnect to xbox live after rebooting so I guess that's a sign that my night is over before it began. I hope EA addresses the freezing issues unlike what they did with their last NCAA basketball game which I loved but was unplayable with the freezing in career mode that they never fixed.

Those are great scores! What a difference 24 hours makes for me. I could putt with my eyes close yesterday, yet today at Sawgrass I just couldn't buy a birdie or would simply waste it the very next hole with a bogey. Didn't go for a swim at 17th this time around but rather on the 16th par 5 hole. Like I mentioned earlier, this game keeps me humble.

Sorry about your freezing issues John. Getting a -9 is a heck of a score on this course but to have the game freeze consecutively is damn frustrating.

Thanks for your quick reply! When I was creating my golfer, I didn't see where I could import XP from TW12. Then again I my have deleted when I did some hd cleanup. Didn't matter because I may have only played 3 rounds on TW 12 and didn't advance very far anyway.
