If Brodeur doesn't resign, it's a possibility. But if he does indeed wave his NTC, he would probably pick his destination and Florida or Tampa would be good choices.

It's funny that Lu gets made fun of by everybody but everyone would love him as their starting goalie on their team. I would take him in a second over Niemi.

If I was Lou, I would choose CHI and having the rich rivalry between the Hawks and 'Nucks, just stick it to his potentially old team. :)

20 minutes in and one thing is clear, the Caps want it more right now. Bruins are playing tight while Washington is doing what they should be doing which is playing with the "nothing to lose, everything to gain" attitude.

unf'nbeleivable! What an intense game. I am not even rooting for anyone but that last 5 min of the 3rd I was shaking nervous!

this has got to be the best NHL playoffs in years. And we still have 2 more Game 7's and it's only Round 1!

Time to go f'ing hang myself.

Washington deserved that one. They were the better team tonight. I was hoping we could watch a few more periods of hockey to see if Peverley could set some sort of record for face-offs lost.

And 10s, if you have that speech you gave your child the other day feel free to send it along. I'm gonna need it.

The way things are going I won't be surprised if NYR goes down tommorow night.

Pissed that I missed the Caps-Bruins game 7. I had a late baseball game so I couldn't watch. Looked like it was awesome.

If by "awesome" you mean consistently frustrating and utterly crushing then yes, it was pretty awesome.

Agreed. Tough to complain one year removed from the Cup...but this what we Boston fans do right.

Good luck to your Flyers. I had a Bobby Clarke poster in my room growing up so I have a little Flyer blood in me.

"Sweetie, there's always next year" wiping her tears...Hey, I feel for you. That was a heck of a game 7 and I wasn't rooting for either team so I imagined how you must have felt. I thought the Caps had the better scoring chances overall tonight and this has to be the upset of the first round by far. Even if OTT pulls out a miracle tomorrow, I would rank that after this shocking upset. I had your bad Bruins easy in 5.

NYR's will win tomorrow night at the Garden, channeling the spirit of Messier in Game 6 against the Devils in the Eastern Conference finals in 1994. Book it.

Hey, at least you f*ckers have teams in the playoffs. The last time I saw my team in the postseason was losing Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals -- in 2006.

After going incognito most of the season, doesn't J. Ward always make his presence at this time of the year?

It's always the same ignorant people that ends up tainting the image of a city.

Sort of like the rioters last June in Vancouver. Unreal that racist tweets and trashed cities still are part of the postseason landscape of North American sports.

Damn NFL Draft is cutting into my time watching this game.

Should be a good 3rd Period, NYR up 1.

Anyone see the violent collision in the Panthers Devils game? Didn't look good for Madden.

Hank came up big again the last 5 min. Sens couldn't even get it out of their zone in the last minute.

Anderson leaving side door left was weird. LOL.

Just a helluva OT in FLO as both teams are still locked at 2. Second OT coming up to decide the outcome of this game 7.

He just looked pissed that they lost but he came back at the end for the handshakes. Once Gonchar took a penalty with a minute left it was game over. King Henrik was immense.
