Heat had no answer for John Lucas, LOL. Now that was a satisfying win.

Is there any doubt the Knicks' locker room had shut out D'Antoni after last night's whitewash of the Blazers in Woodson's first game as head coach?

Yes. Cuz the Blazers are in a free fall after a hot start to the season.

We'll see how long that last. Once they settle in with the new coach it's back to being the old Knicks.

Dude, it wasn't a 10-point win. It was 42-point victory. That's a struggling team getting its sh*t together for one game to make a statement.

Will it last? Unlikely.

Howard just signed an amended contract to stay in Orlando for the 2012-13 season.

That team you were so proud of destroying...shipped away two of their better players and fired their coach today. So yeah, impressive victory. :)

Last time I checked, Wallace and Camby were in the Blazers' lineup last night. And it's not like the Knicks are going to tease the Bulls, Thunder or Heat any time soon. So I still take delight in a 42-point win, especially since the Blazers entered the game with a better record than the Knicks.

Justsayin...the team was a disaster, hence their recent swoon, thus resulting in them blowing the team up. That's my point.

And you forgot Jamal Crawford who they were desperately trying to get rid of. :)

They were the Knicks West basically as far as team chemistry goes. I guess they were just worse. LOL.

Greg Oden waived. Time for the Suns to sign him to an incentive laden deal and let their training staff go to work.

At this point the veteran's minimum should be incentive enough.

I still think he's 48 and used a phony birth certificate to play college ball. :D

Lots of trades, but did anyone really get any better?

Mike Woodson, Knicks LEGEND. 2-0, average winning margin of 28.5 points per game. :)

(Note: Tongue firmly planted in cheek. Still stoked over these two wins!)

Hell's bells: The Knicks beat the division-leading Sixers tonight with DEFENSE to earn their fifth straight victory.

What the hell is going on? Mike Woodson might earn himself a permanent top job in New York if this continues!

That was an ugly pathetic game on both sides. Totally UNIMPRESSED with Lin. Sixers can't finish. Plain and simple. Until they learn to do that they won't do much damage in the playoffs.

I really hope the Bulls get the Knicks in the first round. I love how the Knicks turn a game they nearly blew against a Bulls team that played pretty poorly into a "statement game." A statement that even when Carmello's arsenal of ill-advised shots miraculously drop in bunches and the Bulls uncharacteristically biff all of their late-game free throws, the Knicks manage a one-point win? Nice to see New York take a page from the Pacers book of exaggerating meaningless wins. It will make it that much more enjoyable if they meet the Bulls in round one and get bounced in five games.

I have a weird feeling neither the clips or lakers want any piece of Memphis. They could be a real dark horse to get to the western conf finals.

Not a dark horse when you win a few rounds the previous year. No one wants any piece of Memphis. Not even OKC.

Bulls picking a bad time to play their worst basketball of the season. They're not going to go far if Deng and Rose are banged up.

Amare back in the starting lineup for the Knicks tonight. I'm guaranteeing a Knicks' loss, as this team hasn't found out a way to blend both 'Melo and STAT on the floor, whether D'Antoni or Woodson is coaching.

But I'd sure like to be wrong tonight ... :)
